Black Friday Strikes again. Some Ko-Ken wobble drivers with wobble lockout option. A hand driver and an extension Both are exquisite, and well, sorry Snap On, but these tools rule.
That driver grip is a carbon copy of one of the cheapest crappiest grips ever installed on a freebie screwdriver. Good luck when they all start shedding off. Quite disappointing to see that from Koken.
I have standard and wobble sets of those Koken extensions in both 1/4" and 3/8", and they are my favourite extensions for sure - the knurling on them is great. But like the earlier commenter, I'm not keen on those rubber nubs on the spinner handle, because a) they fall off and look a mess, b) they are dirt collectors, and c) they look like a French tickler! One of the very few Koken design decisions I'm not a fan of.
Those ko ken wobbles look like they are the best ones around. Ive used snap on, husky, and harbor freight, the snap ons were the worst and wore out the fastest to the point the sockets dont even stay on anymore. Id love to get a set of those ko kens
You are aware Koken is not cheap like harbor freight /husky since your bashing snap on I've bought there wobble plus had no problems with them so I assume your problem is price
I don't know if it is optical illusion, but the ball bearing on the Spinner handle looks larger than the one on the extension. And the top part of the extension looks like it has less material and a more pronounced angle than the spinner. I find it interesting that wobble extensions grip the sockets better and with less play than standard extensions (when the socket is pushed all the way to the square part).
I can't believe you only bought one extension, you could have got the whole 7pc set in foam for $75 on black Friday, I know I jumped on it. I should have grabbed to 1/4" as well guess I'll just have to pay the full 100 for it lol
I concur. The MrSubaru10 code worked for me as of Tuesday (12/06/2022)... and actually has been in effect for a good while; even before Black Friday sale. They're taking PayPal now as well.
