I honestly feel like they do. Maybe it’s that their so desperate but at the same time we are animals and I feel like they can sense the help or the fact we aren’t hostile.

I was feeling really sorry for the Australian people until someone brought to my notice about how unscrupulously they have been killing animals in Australia. I wanted to see for myself and so I googled for information regarding this and was shocked ....millions of cats ,ten thousand camels....I couldn't bear to read more of their evil deeds. Poor animals who were destined to be born in Australia!!! And now this fire has taken it's toll...sorry to say this but I feel it has made their task easier.

Although I don’t agree with it, camels are not native to Australia and are affecting communities, especially aboriginal communities as they are drinking all the water, not to mention how much it is affecting our native wildlife, they are definitely our priority.
Who is the enemy in a fire? No one so no need to send the army. Firefighters, on the other hand, are in need and I know New Zealand, US and Canada have sent them.

why should they? 30% of the world cannot even afford to go there, others are dying from war and other problems. There are more problems in the world. Although yes, that fire has been burning, a lot more than it 'should'. I saw now that they had also been getting lots of rain and flooding in some places...
