Kobalt 24v Bandsaw 

I've been using this tool for 3 months as an electrician, it's a superior bandsaw in comparison to the dewalt version which I owned for 2 years before bought this tool. It cuts faster, has much longer battery life, it has the underside blade/drive wheel guard included (separate purchase required for the dewalt) and it's got the rafter hook which is larger in capacity for hanging it off more than just the smaller hook of the dewalt. Took 3 weeks of running conduit 40+ cuts a day of various sizes of EMT including 2" rigid pipe before a 2 ah battery needed a charge. Amazing

I went to Home Depot today (7-15-2022) to purchase (6) 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" Unistrut's. They are a very hard steel and the store can't cut them. I took them outside and cut them to length while the struts were still on the cart. The Bandsaw did not slow down or labor. Very fast and quiet cuts. Yes I love this saw 💋💕.

It sounded like it was spinning faster with the 2ah and 6ah battery then the ultimate output battery. Unless that one had a lower charge or something

Picked one up today and ordered some extra blades. Was hard to find and was $99 on sale. Super excited to actually use it!

I have had mine for almost a week. It is a beast and I love it. I also cut steel pipe and the saw doesn't slow down. I am going to TIG weld a piece of steel angle to a pair of 10" vice grips to hold the grips in a big vice. Then I can hold bolts etc in the vice grips for cutting without interferences with saw hitting vice. I have an app and will post after welding. I purchased the same 3 pack of blades. Great video. ✌👌

Hey i appreciate you taking the time to make the video. Ive had one of these for a while and i love it. Even Now the only blades at 28 7/8 are the bosch brand at 18 tpi. Ive seen now yhat Makita selld a 28 3/4 blade and it is 20 some Tpi which is preferred. I was hoping if you or someone else could verify if that 1/8 difference was enough to make them non usable for this tool

This tool is still not available at my Lowes. Have you heard anything on the new 8ah Ultimate Output Battery?

How did you get one of these? I've been waiting for a year.

Will makita blades with dimensions of 28 3/4 vs kobalt 28 7/8 , a difference of 1/8. Can unit idler wheel adjust 1/16 in ? If Bosch brand not available.

Just got one this morning 4-30-22 online it says out of stock went to several lowes in the past (we don't carry those) or (were out of stock) finally went in to browse stopped in tools out of the blue I asked the guy (you wouldn't happen to have the kobalt 24v band saw) he said let me look it up he left then came back & said it shows two in stock so we look on the high shelf from the ground I said yep there they are he got the tower ladder I said thank you sir think to my self yes yes yes

Have you tried their new oscillating tool with anti vibration. it's like 149 for a kit.

It appears Lowes is holding back on this product. Maybe a problem or returns? Have to give it some time to be sure of no bugs.👀

Might be a buy for me i cut quite a bit of steel pipe. Sawzall is noisy as shit.

I might purchase one. One hand operation and 1 large mouth. Uncommon saw size but okay. Better than Milwaukee's m12

I don't get these tools. Compared to what's already available.
