Kobe was in a class by himself, he lived and breathe basketball and done all he could to be the best he could be and for that he's one of the all time greats in it. So clutch, so focused, so competitive and a warrior to make himself the Mamba we know and respect. Sucks that he's gone but his legacy will always be here to stay.
It's ok my man. When the kids in the comments get old enough to where people they care about start dying, they will learn not to make jokes. Once your grandparents, parents, friends start dying, you will appreciate it more.
One aspect about kobe that goes underrated is the fact that he spent his prime with no help, if he had quality teammates from 2004-2008 i could really see himself winning multiple chips/mvps
@@aqers3957 no not a ball hog you jusy dont ujderstand the game enough to see the imaginary %s on every inch of the floor. to say hes a ball hog is stupud. kobe could make a fade away 3 while doubled, at a higher % than jordan and bron hits wide open 3s. the only ppl who think its best to let LUKE walton or KWAME or SMUSH shoot, is bron, and other point guards
I remember growing up as kid. I couldn't stand Kobe as an opponent playing against my Nets. (That 01-02 finals sweep still hurts here in Jersey 😂) But man he left you no choice but to respect his craft, skills and sportsmanship.. a true competitor. A baller's baller. To this day man. I remember playing in the park, the streets, the gyms, anywhere. lol man even the classroom. I could never shoot a shot or a paper ball into a 🗑️ without yelling Kobe! Forever Mamba. We miss you Kobe.
That Nets squad had every element to win too; play making (best PG in Jkidd) pace, defense and rebounding they just ran into a duo that was torching everything in its path 🤷🏾♂️
@@therealmrstaten1 that was the Lakers formula in the Finals too. Let Shaq go nuts especially when he’s going against Todd Mccollugh (fucked up his last name) Shaq ate for 3 straight Finals against Rik Smits and Mutumbo the other two😂😂
The one story of the 75th Anniversary players that truly matters the most to me. Forever in the heart of millions, R.I.P. Kobe Bean Bryant (1978-2020)💜💛
Kobe Bryant's greatest attributes were his unmatched tireless work ethic, his unparalled thirst to constantly update his database. He was constantly adding new elements to his game which allowed him to suceed in different eras. He never made excuses when he lost, and took accountability. He also possessed an extremely high pain threshold and played through numerous injuries. On the court Kobe was ELITE offensively with no flaws in his offensive arsenal which made him an opposing teams nightmare to game plan against; and he was ELITE defensively and willing defended the opposing teams best player even at the age of 34 when he would defend ELITE point guards like Russell Westbrook in their prime and a young Kyrie Irving. On the 2008 Olympic team it was Kobe who defended the opposing countries best player 94 feet and his defensive prescence and vocal leadership permeated throughout the team. He made 12 All Defensive Teams with 9 of them First team All Defense an award that was voted on by NBA head coaches who were restricted from picking players from their own team prior to the 2013-2014 season when the media took over the voting process. And Finally, he was a multi-time NBA CHAMPION who was respected by his peers and opposing head coaches and influenced an entire generation of NBA players such as Giannis, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Kyrie Irving, Zach Lavine, Demar Derozan, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard. Kobe Bryant is an NBA legend immortalized. R.I.P. to the Late Great Kobe Bean Bryant.
@@koolkai4299 that makes a big difference in credibility when an opposing coach chooses you out of all the players in your position as the best defender... it holds way more weight than anyone in the media regardless of their background, experience or credentials. i wonder why they changed it...?
Kobe‘s greatness can‘t be described solely on the basis of accolades or stats. He has all time great stats and many accolades, but his true value is far more than that. The way he played, the many different ways in which he could score, always giving the absolute best on both ends on the floor, his learning curve, curiosity, attention to detail, being able to mature as a leader in his later years, can‘t be stated enough! Also his mamba mentality is real, because many of us including myself are inspired to this day by him and we will always be inspired by him. Kobe learned from the greatest, absorbed many information and successfully implemented in his own game and shared his wisdom as one of the greatest players ever with the world. Not only necessarily related just to basketball, but also in regard to other fields or life in general. R.I.P. Kobe, Gigi and all the other passengers 💜💛🙏🏼🕊
I've been unable to finish a single video of kobe since his death. I just couldnt handle it. Until this video. Thought it was time to revisit, reminisce and just take in his greatness. World continues to miss this man. RIP to the great one.
before 2016 almost everyone have him in the top 3, than all these kids suddenly popping up and say he's not even top 10, it's crazy 😂. another guy that's underrated from his generation is Tim Duncan
@@Giang_as_artistis Timmy top 5 scoring all time? Did timmy drop 81? How many 40 point games does Timmy have? Does he have as many game winners as Kobe? Is timmy 2nd all time in all nba defensive first team in his position? Like dawg, if you don’t know basketball. Than stop commenting
Definitely was an insane run!Melo's Nuggets, The Big 3 in Boston, Artest & Battier on Rockets, Nash and Stoudemire's Suns....he went through hell to get those 2 rings back to back!!!
Kobe is one of Basketballs greatest thing ever. His style, his games, his footworks, his work ethic, his moments. On and on. So happy/glad that i‘m watching him. You will be forever missed Kobe. RiP 🙏🏾❤️🐐
Kobe lives on. He live on thru the fighting spirit of Giannis Kawhi DeRozan Tatum Booker Ja and the other players who idolized Kobe and wearing his shoes ever since playing.
24 🐍 My favorite player miss and love you Kobe! Taught me everything I know on and off the court just to be great have no fear, his skill set was so crazy from his foot work to his difficult shot making, clutch, defense, leadership, he was obsessed with basketball 🏀 people can hate all they want but Kobe put in work and left his heart all out for Lakers and his legacy
Gone but never forgotten!!Watched Kobe never give up no matter what the deficit was, and comeback from down 20 MANY times to either win or come close!CLUTCH and fearless
Perfect embodiment of my hometown of Los Angeles. Glitz and glamour of Hollywood along with the behind scenes grit and grind. Childhood hero, adult role model, hometown icon, one of Los Angeles’ favorite sons. Mamba Forever.
The reason that I became an NBA and a Lakers fan. I have almost all of his jerseys from Lower Merion #33, Sunday White Lakers #8 and Purple Lakers #24 jersey. My idol, my hero... The BLACK MAMBA!
Kobe was the mos hardest working player and had the confidence that he made his mark in the league and he inspired everyone to watch and play basketball he was the true reason why I watch basketball to begin with rip Kobe your life and legacy live on forever and he truly love the game and made a big impact both on and off the court the mamba mentality he never showed fear on the court he delivered night in night out he took it to another level and he competed on both end of the floor when kobe say he's gonna do something he gonna do it he always had a chip on his shoulder a laker legend the goat who lives on forever
This type of competitor, the Kobe type, is why I love the things I love the way I do. He is my hero and always has been and always will be. I loved watching Kobe play on TV for my whole childhood. I don't think people even knew half of how much effort he put into the game.
Kobe was my and always my inspiration on playing basketball. Growing up watching him play and trying to immitate his moves. Kobe "black mamba" Bryant!🐍🐐
Thanks for the daily motivation and inspiration, Kobe! Every time when I am down and want a break in my life from all the obstacles and problems, I always think of you and what and how you did. It gives me strength to get up and overcome everything. Rest in peace.
🥹 damn man. He brought a lot of joy to me at a certain point in my life. This guy here was the example. Even when you mess up in life, be accountable. Learn get better then come back better…Thank you Kobe. We miss you.
It is still hard to believe that THE BLACK MAMBA has gone from us 2 years ago! He was such an amazing player with unbelievable skills, that he is still a big inspiration for young players and also other people! RIP Kobe, we will always love you and you will never be forgotten..He and LBJ were the main reasons why i have start watching & loving the game of Basketball in 2007! YOU WERE BOTH MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE PLAYERS and you have changed the game of Basketball in many ways, that you will always be THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!! For Ever Black Mamba For Ever Number 8️⃣/2️⃣4️⃣ For Ever LakerNation 🥇🏆🏅🏀🤴
Kobe Bryant is best basketball player. Legend and never be forgotten, i starter watch basketball cause of kobe bryant and Mj. I miss kobe till this day
One of the best 2 way players who could lock down on defense, while dropping buckets. People act like his stats are bad, but it was actually amazing considering the era he played in. Kobe Bean Bryant is a certified legend and the most skilled player ever.
That’s one of the most 100% accurate comments I’ve ever heard in my 54 years.. KOBE IS BASKETBALL!!! 100% Miss you Kobe. Rest In Peace Brutha. See ya on the other side. 😢😢😢🤙🤙
LA county still misses you Big Kob rest easy man! I watched so many legends but in LA while I was living there kob was the best I ever saw the man literally destroyed his body on the court to win literally still will never know how he got up from achillies tear and drained two free throws to give full momentum on that game against the warriors and on his own power walked back in the locker room, most mortals would be carried off the court.
