Kobe Bryant tells Graham Bensinger about playing against Michael Jordan and the best advice Jordan gave him. Bryant recalls sleeping on the floor before the All-Star game against Jordan and the critical advice that Jordan gave him. Bryant also looks back at his Game 2 loss to the Celtics and driving around for two hours after the game, figuring out how he would help the Lakers win. Plus, Bryant says that he would want to relive his draft day experience.; taped in 2012

Kobe legit seems like a nice guy. Almost every interview I've seen, he never acts like he doesn't want to be there. Always seems happy to sit down and chat. And I doubt the few thousand they're probably paying him for the interview is the incentive to stay interested, when he's most likely got $100m sitting in the bank.

This crazy thing Kobe did was to oust Shaq under all kinds of criticism (I didn’t like him at all and liked Shaq) and I never heard him making excuses or acting like a punk about it, and he endured a bad season or two then gathered his pieces and went on to get his titles and such. Totally won me over especially after hearing his reasoning years later (which he didn’t bother explaining at the time). He’s in that “greatest” conversation for sure.

How many free agents didn't want to play with Kobe basically because he's a big hog? We got to see some pretty historic offensive performances and I'm thankful for witnessing that and all the 5 rings but it wouldn't have killed him to have more of a passing game.

+Hidden For Suspense A student of the game, he studied and implemented moves and techniques from ALL the greats. Only lazy, barely even casual fans that don't even know the game make this stupid remark as if it's a bad thing. Kobe as a shooting guard, implemented the style of the greatest shooting guard of all time, but also, he worked with Hakeem the Dream a lot and actually, the Dream's influence shows most in his game with Kobe's footwork, the Dream said he was his best student and you can watch the videos of him working with him. Also, Kobe was a big student of Jerry West, all the pump fakes and many of the things he does, is from Jerry West. He took the best techniques of all the greats and mixed them together into the most polished game in terms of tecnhique and skill set of all time. There is nothing at all wrong with that, in fact that is what makes players great, work ethic. Kobe is the biggest student of the game.
@unveiledmystery3364
@unveiledmystery3364 8 лет назад
+Hidden For Suspense Jordan himself took a lot form Dr J before him, and also took a lot form the Dream, every new generation takes the best of before, it's called evolving, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, because sports is about technique and perfecting it.
