“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”
This is such an under-rated truth! When we are at the cliff, fear will find us again, it is courage with wings of hope and grit through pure hard work and determination that we get across! RIP Kobe (You will always be remembered) P.S. I know he passed away a while ago but just saw this video again and posted the comment.
I've started working on this after his retirement. I wasn't able to finish. I've tried and failed countless times. I've lost faith that I am still able to produce anything. I started letting go everything.. but the little spark of hope was still coming back. After unbelieveable amount of work, I finished. Took me almost 4 years. It's not perfect and will never be - but that's ok, I am just thankfull I am back. Take it. Enjoy it. It's yours now. Probably nobody knows but from the beginning I was creating those videos absolutely for free. I didn't get anything from AdSense/RU-vid (These ads you see are not mine, they are generated by copyright owners). It's complicated but long story short I won't be able to monetize videos ever. I knew that after my first video release but I continue to work (still will be) and create videos for free. In afterhours, weekends, holiday... I was thinking lately about starting Patreon (but some controvercy came along with it) so I'm not sure.. What's your opinion about Patreon or do you have any other solution or suggestion ? If you want to support me there is donation link for PayPal: www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=8SUUZTAU4MN5L&source=url Besides that, I will still keep working. Thank you for being. The reason I'm doing this... is you. Love you M.
7 years ago I found your Why Do We Fall. I was depressed, washing dishes at a retirement home. I wasnt going to school or really in pursuit of anything. I though the video was pretty cool. It woke me up a little bit. So I make a youtube playlist and started adding your videos to it every time you released one. A few year went by, then you released Unbroken. That video lit a fire I didnt know I had. My game of connect the dots finally made sense. You have to have a crappy story. Live hurts for a reason, and its not because it hates you. Today my job title is CEO of a company I own. I pay MYSELF a 6 figure salary. I employ my father, who turned himself around as we rekindled out relationship. Your videos did this Mateusz M, in 7 years. Thank you.
This is probably my favorite video on RU-vid. I come back to this every time I need strength and it motivates me to keep going. Kobe we love you, thank you for your lessons.
I’m working very hard for my exams and I constantly get tired and stressed out. But this video keeps me going. I come here everyday to make a promise to myself, That I’ll never give up. Thank you Mateusz M. Thank you Kobe Bryant.
I listen to this every time I go to practice. It has become a ritual. Felt weird when i didn't. I never leave without shooting a freethrow in each basket at the end of practice. Always having Kobe in my mind whilst doing so feels relaxing to me.
The video was uploaded on 24.08, the two numbers of Kobe. Knowing Mateusz M's love for details and the little room he leaves for disorder, this date was not chosen by accident. That's what I call having the Mamba mentality... Nothing is left to chance..
When a player has just broken his finger and is still putting fadeaways with his left hand, there is no way he can lose. Your legacy gonna stay forever BLACK MAMBA
Hey there Burtzi - given that you like Mateusz's vid (no surprises there, his content is the best, I am also a huge fan) and in the spirit of supporting a smalltime YT channel, I make content like this and would love your thoughts on it if you have 3 minutes? I am trying to improve my vids as I go along so any tips or thoughts you have would be super appreciated 😀Of course, if you like what you see a sub would be amazing! Let me know if you have any thoughts and I will reply on there 👍 All the best, MM.
I know it may not be much, but I donated $50 to show my thanks for all that you do. Your videos helped me get my PhD in Aerospace Engineering and get my dream job at NASA Ames. I watched my parents struggle for 30 years, always stressing about bills. Your videos helped me finally be able to support them and take away their stress. Can't thank you enough.
4:33 to 5:20.....I watch this part all day everydayy..to get that extra fire in me....Kobe still inspires every one of us and will continue to inspire ....RIP Kobe....

The world lost an icon, a hero,a legend, a motivator,an intellectual who changed millions of lives just in a second. Life is truly fragile no matter who you are or how old you are. Kobe was my hero, miss him every day.
Kobe has motivated me so much I’ve gone from fat to skinny watching this video. I wanna say thanks to the creations behind this. Everyone go out there and chase your dreams don’t rest for shit. Stay healthy and Bless you all. 🖤
I don’t think she’s going to watch a video of her passed father and sister to become motivated especially when everything he says in this video he’s told her 1000 times
Thank you Kobe. You taught me what it takes to achieve greatness. Not everyone who achieved greatness is willing to share the wisdom. Thank you so much Kobe.
Tomorrow will be 2 years since you are gone and I wanna say is Thank you for giving people like me Desire to be better to work hard to respect others but still give everything to prove them who we are. Now when you are in heaven, please rest in piece - your Mamba follower 🙏🏻
Tbh , i cried watching this video I was a fan of him since when I was young all I wanted in life is to see him even once in my life and get a signiture but now that dream is impossible to happen. Kobe if you're listening to this i want you to know that thank you for everything you've done thank you for giving us a dream to make you will always be remembered! 💛💜
What a legend. Welcome back. Someday I'll have a lot of money, a lot more than I would have if it weren't for you. I won twice the major competition among medical students in Brazil, and it all started years before, in a difficult period when I watched your "unbroken" video several times a day. just let us know about your choice and we will support you wherever you go. Greetings from Brazil. I'm glad the number one is back - we were waiting for you.
Hey John - given that you like Mateusz's video (no surprise, his content is the best, I love it too) and in the spirit of supporting a smalltime YT channel, I make similar content to this and would love your thoughts if you have 2 minutes? I’ve hit rock bottom. My family life is difficult. I’m working full time while also going to school full time. On top of that, life is just really hard. But the Lord is using the trials in my life to help me grow. Coming here and watching Kobe helps me to know that regardless of what you’re going through, you gotta work harder than anyone else. My dream is to be a RU-vidr. I want people to see me as the Kobe of RU-vidrs. I will work harder than anyone else.
I have never been an avid basketball fan, I had heard of his amazing talent and drive and of course the tragedy. Let's hope we all learn to live that way giving it our all because tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. Thank you for the motivation.
You have helped me a lot in stages of my life, really ... I will never know how to thank you for everything you have done for me. simply thanks. greetings from Spain.
I’ve watched him since I was 11 years old, 24 years... From beginning to end, witnessing the incredible journey. Thank you for being my hero, my inspiration, my idol. I don’t think I’ll ever accept that you’re gone but no matter what I’ll carry your lessons with me forever. My GOAT, Kobe Bean Bryant 🐐🐍
"Everything negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise." - Kobe Bryant Great work on this one Mateusz, this video is the perfect blend between paying tribute to Kobe but also providing his best lessons in success and life for everyone else.
This is one of the few good things about 2020. I saw this and dismissed the notification only to go, "Hold up, was that Mateusz?!?!". Please let's get this man a Patreon account. Like this so he can see this. his work is incredible!
Incredible work man. I owe you. From 7 years ago I still owe you. Thanks for doing these, you are helping more people through rough times than you know. Super glad I found this. Fan of Mateusz for life. ✊🏾
You just encapsulated EVERYTHING I’ve felt the last 6 months since he passed in the first 30 seconds. Everything after was what I needed to help push me back into Mamba Mentality. Thank you Bruh. Thank you.
Mateusz by far makes the best motivational videos. They are not too long or too short. The mixture of video, spoken word, and music always seems to be so balanced. I had run my first marathon listening to his videos as motivation and still listen to them to this day as I train for my next runs and start my days with the right mindset. They are so much better then the paid videos
Just dropping a line for myself. 1. I am going to clear my toughest exam on 24-25 september, result will come on 17 December. I will clear that beast exam 2. I will loose 20 kgs by then from 95.4 to 75.4 3. I will cure my backpain due to disc buldge by then. Mark my words. I will be back on 17 december 2020. Thank you Mateusz M
Let's follow the game. 1. I will lose 20KG too, already lost 15. 2. Win against my depression, forget my ex, and the past. 3. I will smash my exams. 4. Get my life in control, and regain confidence. Rendez-vous on the 17 December, brother.
Look up yoga with adriene videos for back pain. Her video for lower back pain really helped when I had a herniated disk! And good luck with your goals 👍
The best thing about Kobe was that he was giving value to anything. People aren't appreciate winning with the National team. Kobe was living it. There was no NBA, no offseason, it was the pride for his country. And no matter how much I love Jordan, I will always hate the fact that he tried to take advantage of the National team. Kobe was respecting everything, thats why his greatness is beyond imaginable
I appreciate the practical tips shared in this video. It's not just about motivation; it's about developing a mindset that keeps you going when things get tough.
I love beautiful editing like this. No over saturation of flashy transitions or visual effects. All the focus is on music, excellent sound design and the inspiring and tragic story of Kobe Bryant.
If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place. -Nora Roberts
I watch this video every single day before training. Thankyou Kobe for what you did and the legacy you leave. Thankyou Mateusz for this artwork! Appreciate it!
Just sat down, headphones on, lights off, full screen and "like" button smashed. Ready to watch this. I have been waiting 3 years for another video. I am sure I am going to enjoy this one. And if it´s about Kobe even more. Thanks in advance Masteuz. I know it´s going to be an amazing video.
Welcome back Mat, your talent to invoke all kinds of emotion while highlighting this man's achievements was needed and overdue. Please continue your work.
It's fitting that Mateusz comes back with a Kobe video. It's been 7 months since Kobe's passing but this is honestly the best Tribute/motivational video of them all.
Hey, Mateusz, I know you got thousands if not millions of these messages and mine won't be anything special, but I need to tell you how much I thank you. I first saw your video back in 2015, I was a struggling middle school student with English as my second language. I was trying my best to get my school grades back to normal and learn English, but my force along wasn't enough. That's when I saw your video, I believe it was "Unbroken". That video gave me strength to continue studying and opened the gate to your other videos. I don't know how many nights have I put "Born In the Dark" on background while studying until 1 or 2 am. "The Mind" and "The Greatest", those two were amazing as well, listened to them millions of times. Anyway, nice to see you back in action, amazing video as usual, please keep up the good work, we'll be here waiting.
Dude everytime i watch this i get emotional. Didn't even watch him when he played but it still hits me. This means that the pain longtime-fans feel is beyond my understanding. I've listened to this before every practice when i used to do so. At the end i always made sure to hit a freethrow in each basket we had, always bearing kobe in my mind. RIP a true legend, rest easy.
We love to have you back man! you have no idea how important have been your videos in my life, keep going something great is coming for you.. good bless you and your family
The legend is back, finally after four years, I hope you're doing alright M and i really appreciate your hard work even tho sometimes it doesn't pay off, but we're here for you and i'm glad you came back with another class video so thank you.
He’s back!!!! No way !! Your videos have helped me in life so much! so while your here and back I wanna say thank you for your videos! I can not express how much they have helped me thank you.
Mateusz M, you sir are the OG and GOAT of inspirational videos. Always the best quality and best content. It’s obvious how much care to detail you put into each one. I’ve watched and listened to them almost every day on repeat for over 6 years now. They’ve gotten me through some really rough times, and pushed me to my limits of what I’m capable of. You’ve genuinely changed my life and I have shared your videos with literally hundreds of people along my path. I may never meet you, but what you do is important. I honestly don’t know where I would be without them, that’s sincerely how much you have impacted me. I cannot thank you enough for these masterpieces and the impact that you’ve had on my life. It’s about damn time I let you know. I’m grateful AF for you.
