Man, Kobe was so electrifying and entertaining. His moves were not just flashy but effective. He didn't waste any movements on the court. I will miss you so much Kobe. RIP Kobe Bryant and Gigi...
Thank god we all got to watch this man on and off the court. From winning 5 NBA championships to winning an Oscar! He really did it all He'll NEVER be forgotten, EVER!!!!
Kobe is a complete and full package player GOAT! ATHLETESISM, FOOTWOOK, SHOOTINGS, DRIBBLING, POSTERIZER, JUMPSHOTS, UNBELIEVABLE DUNKS, BUZZER BEATERS, FEARLESS, CONFIDENT, LEADERSHIP, SKILLED AND HUMBLE SUPERSTAR! RIP IDOL CHAMPS!!!💯😇
Everything except 'HUMBLE' maybe until later in his career. Post-retirement, definitely. His arrogance as a 17-year-old and throughout his career, combined with the talent and ethic and, dare I say, aesthetic of his approach to the game put him among the Top 10, and, in my view, even higher than that.
I am a die hard Suns fan.. i remember when my Suns were the two seed playing the 7 seed Lakers in 2006.. everyone was picking the Suns to win in four or five... I remember telling everyone that would listen..... "but they have Kobe Bryant!".. to most, including all the sports analysts, it didn't matter, the Suns were so much better as a team.. but I knew better. Kobe Bryant at that time was the most dangerous player in the NBA.. going into that series, I was terrified. I thought that the Suns could be the first two seed to lose to a seven seed in decades. And I was right almost, Kobe Bryant darn near won that series all by himself, took the Suns to 7 games! Kobe Bryant was the second most clutch player (Jordan being first) I've ever witnessed with my eyes. In my humble opinion, he is the second greatest basketball player in history. I know there is a Jordan vs LeBron debate.. but I agree with Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson, y'all just going to pass Kobe Up!?! If I wanted to win a game 7 with all the chips on the line, I take Kobe over LeBron 10 out of 10 times. Kobe Bryant is an assassin... Not only is he the second greatest player that ever lived, but I don't think it's even close. LeBron James is definitely top five, but he ain't no Kobe.. as a Suns fan, I never once feared LeBron James like I did Kobe Bryant.
Back in the early 90's. Mid 90s. Through out most of the 90's. Growing up as a kid I Hated the Phoenix Suns. They would always beat us. Y'all had a great team back when. I'm 37 now. Haven't watched baskeball in a while but the Suns were my most feared and hated team.
Lebron James is a better Game 7 performer than Kobe. Lebron is a better elimination game performer than Kobe. Love Kobe tho RIP, but let’s not mix facts with emotions y’all
I miss him.. my childhood hero. Still just shaking my head. Can't believe he and his daughter are gone. Makes me cry still. Made me hug my own kids a bit harder when I found out that morning I'll never forget it.
We all must be around the same age. Kobe was my favorite of all time. He’s the reason I started watching & following the Lakers. Still to this day Im a die hard fan. Well, i will be once they get rid of Lebron. He died 2 days before my birthday. That horrible day will forever be etched into my brain. Reat in peace Kobe & GiGi.
@@LucasHenrique-te5sp So you see, you may not know what another person is creating, unless you get to know them (Life lesson) But I think your joking with that.
He was more than just a basketball player. He was an inspiration for millions. Yeah, I'm crying again. More than 24 hours later and it still feels like a dream.
I'm still waiting too wake up smh RIP GIGI aka MomBacita And the GOAT KOBE "BEAN" Bryant I'll be on every highlight for the rest of my life much love to the Bryant Family and the others that where lost
I havent even accepted it yet. Its like my mind is incapable of processing whats happened. Kobe has been my idol for as long as i can remember and i just cant believe that he is gone, and Gigi too.
This man’s entire life was literally a love story with basketball. He is the GOAT to me because I saw greatness every time I saw him on the court as a kid. I wish he was still around. Rest In Peace Kobe ❤
I modeled my whole life after Kobe Bryant. His work ethic, his fierce determination, his swagger, his desire to win, everything about him is absolutely legend. Every time I watch any videos I cry. I love you so much Mamba. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me. You helped shape my life in ways I could never repay.
Kobe I love you so much man, when I wasn’t good enough to make my high school team I cried so much. One day I watched one of your workout, interviews and motivational videos. Everyday I went to the gym cuz you told me to. When I was tired and wanted to quit I kept going cuz you told me to. When I was told I wasn’t good enough I believed in myself because you told me to! When the time came I made the team as a sophomore I cried and thanked you so much for giving me the blueprints to be the best I can be! All I can say is thank you and I will miss you so much! I’ll never forget you Kobe! Mamba Forever! P.s. My grandma that’s not here anymore is with you Kobe. She’s one of your biggest fans, tell her I said I love and miss her. RIP
"What else can i say, Mamba out" -Kobe Bryant We will forever love and honor one of the greats the game has ever seen. THE MAMBA WILL LIVE ON FOREVER Edit: thank you to all the people who liked this comment. It is an honor for me to be alive while the mamba was still with us. Thank y'all for respecting a legend that has fallen, but his legacy and words will forever live on and raise up people for hundreds of generations to come.......
Kobe stood out in an era full of high-scoring guards. He's underappreciated because so many other players were dropping 40 and 50 points (T-Mac, Arenas, Iverson, Wade), but nobody did it like Kobe.
The self passes were awesome but his confidence during the clutch three pointers were INSANE. I mean that he needed exactly a three pointer to make it a tie or win the game and there are so many clips of him getting those three pointers. What a legend.
@@fazeraid2003 Shut up you idiot he's dead and ur laughing youre actually a phsyco, and stop being racist not everyone can be what you want them to so get over it
@@Knight_Of_Eleum_Loyce He definitely wasn't that clutch at all, but he was definitely an amazing player who had a lot of confidence in himself for sure
I don’t want to talk about Lebron in a Kobe video but Lebron rivals MJ and Magic and a little of Kobe at the same time so in that case Lebron is one of the most diverse player in terms of shooting, passing, and dunking.
Growing up and watching this man play was an absolute blessing. I remember being 8 years old and watching the Lakers for the first time at the Great Western Forum. I was hooked from then on out. While stationed overseas, I would get up at 3am to watch my Lakers play before a 14 hour duty day. Thank you Kobe for getting me through some of the hardest times of my life.
Kobe didn’t die, heaven just drafted him on their team Edit: I’ve been noticing that a bunch of Kobe haters are in my replies on this comment, if you don’t like Kobe, just at least have some respect for GiGi. She never got to see the world, live her life, etc. so yea. And another thing about me, I’m not a lakers fan. I’m a proud Celtics fan, it just surprised me about the helicopter crash and about GiGi. One more thing, I’m not a person who is like”OmG tHankS FoR tHe lIkEs” I just didn’t expect it to get so many likes, have a good day everyone and stay healthy.
When I read comments,I just can’t believe that it’s true:( But hey ...we don’t need to cry because of he’s dead,we need to smile because he was here RIP Mamba
Alex Lion real shit bro I’m not tryna think that he’s gone I just try to think about the memories he made for me and the game. He’s eternal, Kobe is all around us i can feel him no disrespect. His energy is that massive
Wou Browne yeah but when I think about the memories it just makes me more sad. And the fact that his 13 yr old daughter and her teammates died is just heart breaking.
This man was incredible!!! He wanted to be the best always. He deserved more MVPs than he was given. He retired two jerseys for one team! 5 championships.... man, RIP and thank you for the great memories.
U have no idea how happy I am that I got to see Kobe’s entire career being born in 90.. he’s the greatest I ever saw he was and still is my hero.. nobody can do it like Bean!
My goodness. That behind-the-back dunk at 6:13 is so damn magical. Look at Kobe's footwork. Does not travel one bit but does a beautiful move to score. Love the players today, but 110% guarantee they'd travel if they attempted such a thing.
yup.....a lot of people are currently comparing Ja Morant to Derrick Rose, which I totally get, but Ja really reminds me of a young Kobe....absolutely FEARLESS when he's driving the lane...SO explosive....really cant be understated.
For those who never had the chance to witness Kobe Bryant play, you have to understand he was a miracle maker. Against all odds, he made miracles happen on a regular basis. To him, basketball came off like something natural, like a dance. He made the impossible possible on many occasions. This is why Kobe is often cited as the best player after Jordan, because despite having statistics a little bit subpar to a player like Lebron James, not anyone in the history of the NBA could achieve so many impossible shots like he did. He was dancing to it, his mind, body and soul were drawn to the basket like athleticism could have never achieved. He was gifted by the gods. Rest in peace Kobe. The man may have died, but the legend lives.
derek8c exactly right! And they will be better because they watched kobe and other greats and wanted to be like them. He’s already inspired the players who will surpass him
I have to admit, I'm not much of a basketball fan, but I love kobe. Seeing someone with as much raw dedication to their craft as him is inspiring. His attitude has really made an impact on me despite the fact that I don't even play basketball.
My favorite player of all time. Closest man to Michael Jordan if not equal. Pure greatness and love for the game. Will never be tired of watching his highlights. Miss you Kobe 💯❤️
Just imagine some of those legends watching this today with a smile on their face and tears running down their cheek, thinking back to these moments when they happened
Never was as excited to watch any other player on the court. The moves he would do were amazing and incredible.. and against tough competition, double or triple-teamed. Truly the 🐐 R.I.P. 🕊
The world was lucky to get Kobe at the end of Jordan's career. LeBron is amazing, don't get me wrong, but the insane acrobatic and just mind blowing shots and things those two pulled off... We are lucky to have lived in a time where we got to witness it. RIP to my favorite player of all time.
@@thedanphillips who's to say never? There will come someone and set the bar higher then anyone else has eventually. It's how sports evolve and survive.
some of the moves kobe made, no one else can do. the degree of difficulty on his baskets from nearby or fade aways 20 ft away from the bucket. it’s insane and i miss him everyday. i miss watching his games and knowing how exciting it was going to be to watch the mamba play. man.
I don’t think there’s a player who can make me smile not just bc of how insane the plays were but because of the fact that you could just see how much he loved the game in the way he’d played. REST IN PEACE #8
once I got to the play at 6:36 i just stopped and cried because I was so blown away. Haven't watched the rest yet. He's pulling moves here that most professionals will likely never make in their entire careers................................we lost more than words can ever explain.
SWAMPLIFETERRY I remember watching that live. My dad screaming “NO HE DIDNT!!” While my uncles were screaming MVP. My whole house was going wild. The amount of joy Kobe brought to my life will forever be immortalized. RIP to what will forever be LA’s Champion!
I watch this video before I play basketball, this is my warm up video. Kobe is only reason I am into this sports for lifetime, I will keep watch this until I die, my boy now start to love basketball, and I will let him watch this as well. Kobe, thank you
Thicc Squidward literally jerry west, magic, and Shaq all said Kobe was the greatest laker before and after his passing. Only retards still think he’s not
Ahptitude Lebron hasn’t even been a laker long enough to qualify himself in the top 5 greatest lakers. God you Lebron fans man. If you said the greatest cavalier I’d say rightfully so. Lebron wasn’t even the greatest heat, so how tf he the greatest laker 🙄
he's literally a part of who we are as a culture. that's why I can't stand when people talk down to others mourning his death just because they weren't lakers fans or basketball fans or any of that bullshit. He represented far more than that for americans, and minimizing such a thing is arrogant and disgusting.
@@prisonforjohnnydepp5298 nah , stop spreading lies there is no facts that kobe intimidated the girl, the facts was th girl didnt testify and there was a settlement so leave it to that , dont make up stories just to make yourself feel better
6:20 nah that’s the coldest dunk ever, this man Kobe was so different. 2 years later and you are missed more than ever brother. all love and prayers to you and your family. you may be gone but your presence and life on this earth will never be forgotten
Been watching you since I was 7-8 years old. I’m 28 now and I genuinely feel like I grew up with you. I don’t know basketball with out you Kob. You will always be remembered. Legends never die ! #8 #24
Somewhere at age 24, I felt like this man became the fastest to learn every attribute of an individual player. The work ethic he put on since he knew basketball and still retained his skills until the end is unsurpassable. The best 1v1 player so all he ever needed was the right people to win championships. 🙏
I love how each year he progressed and got better . Sharper angles , better cuts to basketball , better ball handling . Its beautiful to watch . Rest Easy Mr Bryant
10:12 game winner over the Phoenix Suns. Take a second to look at how he doesn't look at the basket, doesn't look at the clock. In this moment he has blinders on he is focused on one spot on the floor, he hits that spot, turns and sinks the game winner. That shot was hours of work put in the gym, that shot was everything he exemplified.
Kobe is one of the greatest players the game has ever seen. the way Kobe played will never be duplicated, he was incredible. Rest in peace, Kobe Bryant 1978-2020. Gianna Bryant 2006-2020.
