Self investment. You can learn more about life if you find time alone and put all your energy into your mental development than you will in college. So much more to it, but you must make a conscious decision to be a better version of yourself. Study your pain, and learn your weakness so you can develop your strengths. College cannot teach you this.

cwaddle He was truly a phenomena. I'm around Kobe's age, I watched him play when he first came to the NBA. Of course, his playing was like some kind of magic, but his charm, fun and intensity made everyone love him from the beginning. Imagine how incredible and loved he must have been to people who really knew him, I'm simply a fan with the distant perspective that a fan has.

I'm a Bulls fan..grew up watching the Jordan era...Kobe surpassed Jordan in about everything including personality and maybe close in basketball. Kobe really is what Jordan should have been. In Chicago there are no MJ gyms or special things he does for Chicago- he literally is a great player only but not a great person-unfortunately.

I too have always had a curious mind, but I’ve spent my whole life being undisciplined, lazy, ran away at the first sign of failure, was a quitter, blamed others. He’s taught me a lot since he died, and has given me a lot to think about. (I only knew he played bb before he passed, knew nothing about his personal life). I’m going to do better.
