Saying Kobe didn't have great physical attributes is crazy. Kobe was a better in game dunker than 98% of the nba right now. Kobe is always compared to Vince and MJ in terms of athleticism, but there aren't too many players that were athletic like them in the history of the NBA. Today Anthony Edwards is always hyped as this athletic freak, but I've never seen him pull off the level of dunks Kobe did in-game.

Kobe was dedicated to the game of basketball more than anyone and moreso dedicated to ensuring his own legacy and greatness vs Jordan who compulsively wanted to win at everything. If Jordan trained as hard as Kobe, MJ would have had the time to maybe develop a 3pt shot…MJ dragged Kobe out to the golf course to play 2 rounds of 18 after practice that began at 8am so he could get out in time, Kobe would just get injured… same with Lebron. MJ freak of nature that in no way lacked work ethic. Kobe needed that wake up 4am 3 practice sessions a day. Agreed. When mj first came in he was so ahead of his time. Now you see average joe and 15 years old year jumoing out of the gym. Back when i watch 90s and 2000s. Alot of people doesnt have left hand finish, sidestep or stepback moves. Kobe every year has added new moves into his arsernal. And curry.... with his small physique and mediocre athletism and ankle. He managed to dominate the world.

kobe is someone who is pushing his limits. thats why no one can guard him other than jordan. i dont see any natural talent kobe have, the only thing he had was pure skills and mentality that separates him to anyone in the league right now
