The reason is obvious, to annoy them. As the youngest sibling, we actually know you will stay there untill we give some reaction like screaming "Apa kak? APA?! AAPAAAA?!!!". I have tried ignoring my older siblings, but always give in because it's so annoying seeing them standing, staring, and doing nothing in my room without saying anything.
