I really want to see a Grung Warband I feel most people don’t know how AMAZING Grung can be. With each color having a different poison ability. Grung are definitely my favorite low level monster instead of Kobolds or Goblins
Theo, for the love of god, please! If you have any word with Wizkids, please tell them we need a Yuan-Ti warband as you said!! It's so frustrasting when I need many types of yuan-ti and each mini costs so much, besides the regular ones (sword/bow). The others are insanely pricy for no good reason. Also, this warband seems awesome, and just might make an appearance as an ambush party in the woods for my players
@@TheGallantGoblin do those come prepainted? I don't care to paint, but I myself don't own any equipment to paint, which is why I try to buy prepainted even though it's more expensive
@@RickKoeppen yeah thats what first drew me in as well, what kept me coming back though is what truly great guys both Grady and Theo are ! Honestly bud your channel and this one are the only 2 that deal with D&D that I bother with for the most part
I love them! Really looking forward to getting at least one set, as I already have a few from the previous Monster Packs. As for future warbands, a hobgoblin one is probably the most obvious, though one for regular human bandits or even city guards/soldiers would be pretty sweet. Also gnolls, because gnolls. 😆 Great review as always. Stay safe!
I like the kobolds. About time they make a figure of the winged kobolds. Now they need to make a package of just the winged kobolds. So I can fill out my kobold war band.
These warband sets are a great idea! This one is a little expensive but I love all the effects. I'd really love to see a knoll warband, I know we have a lot of minis for them already but I like their slightly bigger models 😅
I've been growing my warband with the few individual unique kobols from multiple sets, now i can grow it by multitudes! Reminded me that my recently dispersed party was ambushed by an elite kobold kill squad, 2 pcs nearly died to the sergeant kobolds assassin skunk
Hello Theo & Grady, great set one of the best. Kobolds use to be dawgs! In the old school modules they Bark & Yip. Have you done an Orc Warband yet, if not that should be next. But if we are just wishing, how about a Kuo-Toa Warband. 🚷 🐡 Thanks Theo & Grady you gentlemen have a wonderful day!
Heh. Nice! I had forgotten when they were dogs. Yes, we have the orc warband but it’s embargoed for the moment. We can share it soon! Love the Kuo-ToA idea! Thanks!! -Theo
I think Rainbow Goblins would be more fitting because I have painted so many various skin colors for Goblins and I just say they are from different tribes.
Those critters do look great. Love the shirt by the way! still 45 bucks for 8 minis? thats a little steep for my book. but then again, I like buying the minis you paint and assemble that come with 20-40 a box for the same price, lol.
Oh thank you! Yeah, the price jumped a bit from the last warband. Would be interesting to see these come out as an unpainted set down the line, but I haven't heard anything. And here's the shirt if you're interested: www.gallantgoblin.com/product-page/kobold-rainbow-jersey-t-shirt. -Theo
I mean, this is good, i love the set, but 50 bucks? I could get roughly the same amount of kobolds from buying the cave defender set twice and have even more minis than this. Definitely gonna wait till it goes on sale or clearance somewhere.
@@josephskiles It's always been pretty sketchy what they really were. My earliest exposure to them left me with a dog like appearance (though rat like might be fitting). Over time they've shifted to the dragonfolk they are now. I refuse to accept that however.
@@Welverin well originally they were just a Germanic version of goblin, I do remember in the old MM though it said they made yipping and barking noises like dogs so your comparison is equally valid I think
