Thanks that you have re- habilitated a old eternal epic and evergreen song by giving a solid, crystal clear and effective background score by adding missed parts of music also. Original sound track of the movie was composed by duo Viswanathan and Ramamoorthy. Viswanathan had sufficient knowledge in Carnatic Raagas and Ramamoorthy had ample knowledge in instruments. Viwanathan use to play the Raaga of the song in Harmonium that which is derived from Carnatic music and that which perfectly suits the song situation whether melody or melancholy. When Lyricist says the Lyric to the director and it was Raamamoorthy who defines the background score and prepare notes to be distributed to the musicians for re-hearsal and recording. Raaga of this song is " Mathyamam - Sankarabaranam as base". The lyrics by Kannadasan is a poetic expression of the heroin's feelings. She questions what came first, & asks if the flag fluttered first, or the breeze came by before; if the moon came first, or the flower bloomed before, & so on. The song beautifully expresses the conflicting emotions of confusion, restless joy, affection and compassion of the heroine. Thiru Paandian is the only substitute for singer T.M. Soundharrajan and Ms. Farida, most fitful singer for old songs. Both have embedded their emblems. The " thabela " of the original version was not at all clear and solid enough. Kiran has re- furbished with his own skill. Entire violin section is played in Keyboards by your experts is praise worthy. Fluteists have given extra effect and sweetness to the Flute tunes. Each and every instrument is more effective than original version and is a must to praise Sound Engineers and System arranger. Thanking you Gopal sir for your selfless service. Ever loving fan Sibi
