Loved this one Lauren, was so afraid we were not going to see the crab 🦀 festival, what fun and so many cool vendors. So nice for you, your Dad , Mom and Violet to spend quality time together. Violet is really growing. Thanks for taking us along. Loved it.
Thanks so much for this video. My cousin lives in Fairbanks and she's about to retire (I'm already retired) and we plan to take a camper down from fairbanks and see all there is to see. If I time it right, we can fly from Anchorage to Kodiak for this festival, which looks super fun. And being from Nashville, TN, this gal hasn't had a lot of crab (but I LOVE it!). Teresa
You’re lucky to have this fair. If it was here IN NEW JERSEY , it would be total madness and VERY BUSY with people. Nj is very populated. Alaska seems not too bad. You are roaming freely without people tripping on you. Enjoy.
Thank you Lauren for promoting Alaskan grown and made goods, this certainly helps the locals to thrive. This really looked like a fun place to visit and its on my bucket list now.
Since I am land locked in the Arizona desert and love seafood................................I would be piggin out on all crab!!! Just give me some melted butter and I will be happy. #2 would be fish & chips, can't get ANY fresh fish here, all pre-frozen and water logged.
Lauren you have a sweet soul. Even your voice is so sweet and soft. I love listening to you talk. Your husband and kids are so blessed to have you. Oh I can really help you eat those crabs for sure. Crabs is my choice. But I would all so like to tried that hamburger. I can’t wait to see it. How was the burger. You didn’t say.
King crab, looks delicious. Had some when in Japan and loved it. I’ve watched a documentary about catching these monsters and it’s extremely dangerous and hard work. 😮 thanks for your information tour, love seeing these videos that your family do.❤
It looks sooooo tasty, I would really enjoy being there. I'll tske note here about the Festival and try tô just make it there next year. KODIAK IS REALLY A PLACE TO VISIT!!! ❤😊
I’d gravitate to the crab! All the crab! I’d love to try it so fresh. And fried dough. I’m not a kettle korn fan tho it’s very popular here in New England. So excited for the rest of your adventures this summer.
It was so fun to be with you at the Kodiak CrabFest! If I had my choice of food, Buoy Boys would be my favorite! The crab looked wondeful, but I am very allergic to seafood. Does the Salmon Roe T-shirts have a web page and sell them online? Violet is getting so big and more adorable each day! It was good to see your mom and dad also, because we never saw much of them while they were here before.
Hands down would be the Dungeness crab. Love it so much. Haven't had any since moved away from WA state in 1976. Not so much a fan of King crab. Second would be to try those hand pie burgers you mentioned.
Thanks for sharing your adventure one day I would love to visit Alaska, but very different from Arizona I think I would freeze the death. You never said what you thought of that burger thing that you got was it good?
Thank you all for taking us to the crab fest. I love crab, so I was soooo jealous of that huge King Crab claw your dad had!! Violet looks lovely and growing fast! Take care all ❤
I would choose crab, crab, and crab. Maybe start with a bowl of clam chowder. And finish off with some kettle corn for dessert. Though fried cheese curds sound good.
Hello! I loved the video! Alaska is a bucket list trip! My favorite is your friends bus Vintage Poppy! Creativity and cute items❤. Hope the whole family is well!
Hi Lauren 👋 I'm a sucker for Mexican food, so I would get the tacos 🌮 that dough Bouey for sure! Kettle corn, cotton candy, and a big hug to your sweet Violet! She's so cute 😊 Also, the freeze-dried candy would be my desert for later. I would have thought there would have been more crab 🦀 but lots to eat anyway. Your view from your deck is priceless! WOW!!! Awesome trip, and glad you enjoyed it with mom, dad, and Violet.
I need to add Kodiak to my bucket list. Looks like you all had so much fun. I would choose crab for sure. Also cheese curds and maybe Filipino food. Yum
Glad you had that time with your parents. The sea glass was just beautiful. I'd never thought of creating something like that. I'd be there for the crab and would have expected far more than what you received. Despite caught there, it's expensive.... Maybe they didn't prefer to throw profits away. Hope your weekend is special and thanks for sharing 🌻🦋
Thanks for sharing your fun trip and precious Violet. Love seeing your Mom and Dad too. I probably would have spent way too much money there with all the great little shopping chances!
Mrs.Lauren baby Violet is so adorable thank u for taking all us alone with u and your Mom and Dad i always look forward to your videos i just love your family
Violet is soooo cute . She looks so much like Everett. I would definitely be eating the crab!!! Dough buoys looked delicious definitely get that... the Filipino barbecue...ice cream. I WOULD BE SO FULL...
Oh Lauren that was amazing to see all the booths and people out enjoying the sights sounds and smells. My mouth watered big time. I ❤ crab, and Lobster. And here I am stuck in Manitoba. Lol thank you for taking us along once again. Hugs and Love from Manitoba.
What a fun festival !! Lots to see and ofcourse eat, that Dungeness crab looked good !! Miss Violet has big beautiful eyes and seems like such a smiley and calm little girl. So cute !! That fried bread looked really good too, nice how you can put it together yourself. I'm going to try and make it myself this weekend. Thanks for sharing and i hope everybody enjoyed themselves !! ❤
I love festivals like this. It's hard to choose what I would eat. But, I'd start with the crab, fish & chips, and then tacos. For dessert kettle corn & the ice cream. Little Violet is so darn cute, I love her smile.
I lived on Kodiak for 26 years and I love bruin burgers as well as the chocolate dripped ice cream bars oh and Filipino pork on a stick is yummy too. So many amazing options.. I’m so glad you shared beautiful Kodiak Island with everyone.
I just put this on my Alaska bucket list. A friend of mine that lives in Anchorage said he's been several times and loves it. When I saw your last video I was a little disappointed when you and Dad got soup. I thought, wow not much of a crab festival. Glad to see it's a big thing. Violet is so cute! Glad you are getting time to spend with your parents! Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this! What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of your long winter…..the British part of me would definitely get fish and chips 😊
