Heidern being one of the few that can stand against Rugal is quite fitting... Sandra and Clara are smiling proudly from heaven. As an Ikari Warriors player, I just shed a tear. Snappy salute to you, Commander. 👊
@@NandolfBlockbuster Yes. All coincidental in nature. Nonetheless, it's truly poetic that Heidern is (one of) those that can do so considering his history with the Bernsteins.
but how can be so certain they are truly dead!!? i mean with the possibility of some of the dead coming back to life due to the events of kof 14 & 15, including how the ikari ending showed that there was a possibility that even leona's biological father came back to life, i can easily see SNK doing the same for his wife and daughter in a later DLC or even a future KOF 16!
So from this video, the supers that beat/avoid the Menacing Walk is: Heidern's Climax Super(Beats it) Kurki's Climax Super(Goes over it) Shermie's first Super(Lvl 2) and Climax Super(Both go over it) Chris's Climax Super(Goes through it) Whip's Climax Super(Goes over it) Ramón's Climax Super(Beats it) KOD's first Super(Lvl 2)(Beats it) King's first Super(Lvl 2)(Goes over it) Blue Mary's Climax Super(Goes over it) B. Jenet's second Super(Lvl 2)(Goes over it) Regular Omega Rugal's Climax Super(Beats it) Boss Omega Rugal's Third Super and Climax Super(Former counters it while the latter beats it) Meanwhile those who can't beat/avoid it from this video are the following: Shun'Ei, Meitenkun, Benimaru, Ash, Elizabeth, Kyo, Iori, Chizuru, K', Maxima, Terry, Joe, Andy, Ryo, Robert, Yashiro, Yuri, Athena, Mai, Ralf, Clark, Leona, Antonov, Krohnen, Kula, Ángel, Vanessa, Luong, Dolores, Isla, Gato, Rock, Otoma-Raga, Re Verse
Heidern, Ramon, and King Dinosaur can counter his menacing walk... Is it because their climax/HSDM is a grab type? I mean, even other grapplers climax or even DMs, SDMs cannot counter him like Clark's, Mary's, Angel's, and Shermie's. For Heidern, it's like a revenge has been fulfilled... Too bad Rugal won't be going to Hell anytime soon. But doesn't he already get over that revenge? He's not like make "revenge is the only thing that moves him."
It would seem only command grab supers with invincibility at the start can counter Rugal's own Super. Those with command grab supers that don't have any invincibility will instead lose to Rugal's super
His menacing walk stop when you get behind him, maybe that's why Ramon can do it. KOD is probably just the longer range and i think Heidern works as intended.
Regular Tiger Road grab from Ramon beats it so it does not require invincibility at all. So I'm guessing it just really depends on angle/speed, and needs to be a command grab to bypass Rugal's armor.
Characters who have a super/climax that can can nullify it or otherwise evade it. Another Boss Rugal Kukri Shermie Chris Whip King Mary B.Jenet Characters that can outright counter it. Rugal (both versions) Ramon King of Dinosaurs And of course, Heidern
It would appear that it loses to true command grabs(which seem to be quite rare), doesn't grab anything that isn't grounded and it will be cancelled the moment you side switch. Idk if Rugal climax counts as a command grab or something.
I think Ramon and KOD were only coincidences, but Heidern defeating this HSDM is SO MEANINGFUL! And I say more: I think SNK should remove Ramon's and KOD's priority about this HSDM, and let Heidern be the only one!
Same here, it looks dope, it'd have to be toned down in terms of how much damage it does..thing does HALF your life...and it doesn't even take GAUGE for Boss Mode Rugal.
@@NoOne-om7mm Yes...I remember rather vividly the OG Omega Rugal..my first KOF was 95 on the Playstation and I've been playing the series since then...oh lord...SNK Boss Syndrome ain't like it used to be for KOF.
Getting hit by Heidern (due to past history and potentially Shermie) by their climax is one thing, but by the mexican wrestler and the dino luchador is another XD
Not listing which moves do it, but which characters and how many work (whether they deal damage or just escape). 11 in short, 12 if you count Rugal and his boss variant as separate characters. Heidern Kukri Shermie (x2) Chris Whip Ramon King of Dinosaurs King Blue Mary B Jenet Rugal Rugal (Boss variant) Of all characters, Shermie is the only one that has two? I would've bet Heidern, but them's the breaks.
The few that seem to go through and actually land... They all seem to be grabs, specifically ones that don't try to hit him first prior to the grab itself. Makes me think a basic throw if one could get in range without being snatched by Rugal first would actually beat it.
So only non hit fully invincible command grab supers and Rugal's climax beat it clean, you can make him cancel the move by crossing over (which I already knoew) and if two Omega Rugals use it, both cancel each other out. Neat.
Rugal would still win against Goenitz, though. But, meta-wise, that's when you expect him to bring back Yoshinori Shima to voice him, when it's the era of Susumu Akagi.
@@UltramanMebiusBrave Goenitz took rugal's eye when he was Only 19 years old .... that's a bad MF right there . Rugal killed heidern wife and child sandra and Clara I think their names were . Since verse died back in kof 14 All dead characters should be alive again.
Just wondering if it's possible to roll or super jump past it, given how Shermie's supers managed to dodge it. Love how Rugal is basically combining his Rugal Execution with the last hit of the Dead End Screamer with this Climax move.
as if this version of rugal looks like hanma yujiro from baki. But at last, KOF back to its predecessor roots. Super insane BOSS fight. This bring back memories.
