I just took out my old faucet and replaced it with a Kohler Rival. The installation was pretty much the same. Installation was actually quicker than taking the old one out. I would say total time was just over an hour. Thank you for this video.

CB - Just added one in place last night - unfortunately, being an older house, my water supply connections were 1/2" and didn't fit the nut from the supply line from the faucet. Gotta run see our friends at HD and see if they have some sort of coupler to "git 'er done." But it was nice to see how the pros do it - I was on track with most everything including the pains of crawling backwards underneath the disposal and traps! It was nice having my 20yo son handing me tools and assisting - it definitely helps. Thanks for the video!

just finished same job. had quite a lot of trouble getting the brass ring over all the hoses -had to try 3 times to get the ring past the connection joints in the hoses. like the idea of snipping the hoses off of the old faucet. If you are doing the job by yourself ,I think the sequence on the removal of the bracket holding the old faucet is important-before anything, remove the lower nut that holds the faucet extender hose on first so you will have some leverage to get it off. ( wish I was as adept as you with the faucet wrench. ) I did the flush but it was real messy with the outlet so high up and tangled in with the other hoses-probably should have used a piece of garden hose to get it to a bucket. thanks to a great video.

That one is easier to remove than the new Kohler Misters, Your video helped. I'm having trouble removing the bracket. Now I'll use the faucet wrench. I got it done, 3 hours. I wasn't sent all the parts, I had to wire brush the 2 rusted washer parts.

if the disposal and pipes are fairly new, I often pull them to get better access, I just don't like the upside-down laying in cabinet work anymore

My Kohler Mistos won't retract into the cradle. IT IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WEIGHT UNDERNEATH! The pull out sprayer appears to be too big to fit in the cradle. It worked fine at first but over time will not seat back into cradle. Could the back of the pull out faucet have expanded somehow? Help!

I have this model and I've had trouble with the base that won't swivel. Replaced the gasket/ring and it was good for another 2 yrs and happening for the 2x. Where the spray arm rest, I have trouble removing it from the base and putting it back. It's stuck and have to wiggle and pull hard to remove it. Is the black ring inside a seperate piece or do I need to buy the whole sprayer? Thanks!

They missed a step as instructed in the installation directions, that being to let the the water run a full minute into a bucket through the new supply lines before snapping on the rest of the hose to the faucet. This would alleviate the sediment and mineral deposits that would collect in the faucet head and cause a problem with the water stream. That is what I am dealing with currently. My faucet is 2 days old and the stream is all over the place. Kohler is sending me a new faucet head for this very reason.

Chuck having an issue with the hose connection, instructions say until it clicks but NOT staying on???

i have question on this one for you i have the same one but i did not put the 3 holes thing in the bottom and it moves to the side is that normal???

i have a KOHLER R72508-cp-CP that needs a new valve/diverter but i can’t get the damn thing apart. the spout won’t come off. there are two indents as if a special tool unscrews it but it won’t turn. how do these things come apart? how do i change that valve? please and thank you
