We show you our newest addition to Cape Fear Koi as we get out truck with new koi vinyl all over! It’s a beautiful piece of art! Come see the installers high end fish tanks and his beautiful bulldog!!
Thanks my friend! I don’t know if he could have done a better job. And thanks for checking in from the other side of the pond. I always appreciate when I see you guys!
Very cool Norm.. Nice little collection 😆.. Wow.. Some amazing tanks.. Love the truck.. No hiding in that one.. Thinking I like your koi logo the best. Amazing job..
Thanks Chris! He definitely had a nice collection of tanks at his place. Definitely no hiding that one. I often have to remember to drive a certain way when traffic is heavy since my phone number is all over it. Lol Send me your mailing information. There’s a chance I may have your size in long sleeve shirt. I have to double check with Nicole.
Thank you! I’m going back and forth on how to do the mini. It’s such an awesome truck and don’t want to take away from its uniqueness Simon thinking a simpler decal. Hmmm 🤔 not sure !!
Thanks! I do see quite a few people checking it out in traffic, so it’s working!! I’ve never been a fan of artificial plants either, but I’m assuming the larger fish would destroy real fish. 🤔
Looks great. It will interesting to see the kei truck when it's done. You look tall how do you go fitting in it? Some of them are a tight squeeze for me.
Thanks! I haven’t decided on design for the kei yet. I may keep simple since the kei itself is so awesome and turns heads. Maybe just enough to let them know is Cape Fear Koi. I am tall overall. I’m 6’4” and the legroom can be snug, but getting in and out is a special motion 😆 I actually enjoy driving it around town as it’s not uncomfortable to do so.
@@thecharlesshow9615 nice. Then you already know how people look at you when you’re able slide right in the drivers seat like it’s no problem! I’m impressed with how comfortable it is once positioned.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, they came out amazing. A lady stopped by to buy some fish and her mother also does decals and mentioned what a nice job had been done! 😊 I was actually surprised to see how detailed the entire install was as many these days are done in single pieces/wraps as you said, but he did it the high quality old school way. Wr appreciate you stopping by and checking it out!
@@CapeFearKoi Yeah man, us NC Koi fans gotta stick together. You ever thought about doing a few episodes on the differences between Traditional Koi and Butterfly Koi? I was never really interested in Koi; then I saw an adult butterfly and was in love with the long flowing fins. They are like flowing silk flags in the water.
Yes we do and thanks for the support!! We really appreciate it especially from the NC folks and definitely can’t forget the all throughout the world. We couldn’t do it without everyone! That’s a good idea for a video and may do some research to get more information on the differences and hopefully it answers questions people may have. Do you or anyone else have questions you’d like answered in the video?
@@CapeFearKoi Since I am new to them, I know I have seen Koi, Butterfly Koi (the ones I fell in love with) Longfin Koi (same as butterfly koi as far as I can tell) Short bodied long fin koi. Then you get into the terms for color patterns, then if the color pattern is metallic or not, I think adds a term to them. Then I noticed that I guess the color patterns can change overtime. I found that out on one I have in the pond here. So, if you get one that looks one way now that does not guarantee that they will look like that in a few months or years. I am not thrown off by the Japanese terms, Spent years in a Dojo. just knowing when one is a Chagoi or Sanke, Doitsu, Kin Gen or Rin. Then like Big Scales and no scales. Koi can get damn confusing when you get into the terms and stuff you know? Seems like a whole Series just waiting to be taped into. You do this as a Profession, you could probably get really good footage of most if not all the different types right? Sorry for such long messages.
@@ShamanETM would be awesome to do an entire series as if can be a bit confusing when trying to grasp all the terms for them. But since you’re already somewhat familiar from being in a dojo, those terms will start to make more sense and be much easier to remember as more terminology is needed. The great thing about this hobby is how complex it is and the ability to always be a student as there will always be room for growth and knowledge. It’s quite humbling to say the least.
