Thanks, and yes, it did look 3D even though I did not apply the stickers in the "proper" way. My little experiment worked!

Ria your tray looks beautiful. Putting the fish between layers of resin is such a clever way to get that 3D effect. I didn’t realise that was how it was achieved. Great explanation. Some projects are fiddly but worth it in the end. The older I get and the more resin work I do the more patient I become. When I first started I wanted everything to happen straight away and wasn’t good at layering and waiting. Great job. 🐟🐠🐟

Oh yes, I am with you there on the patience level. Sometimes, you just have to take a deep breath and get on with it. I always try to do things to the best of my ability but I knew that putting those fish down in the way they are supposed to be done would have been a bit challenging for me. Some days, my hands are fine and reasonably steady, other days I don't attempt anything where I need a lot of co-ordination. Yeah, because of all the layering, this project took several days to finish but, having said that, I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. I think making things with resin has taught me that sometimes patience is a virtue and it is what it is. I have NEVER been a patient person and I am always wanting to move onto the next idea banging around in my head.

Thank you! This was a simple project and doing the fish the "normal" way was a challenge for me and I knew this. I decided to do it my way and it turned out well. I think these little fish stickers are pretty amazing in the 3D effect they give. Thanks for watching and commenting🥰

Looks terrific! love the sandy, water background I got into a big mess last year trying to stick these wee fishy blighters in scallop shells- vowed never again 😂

😂 Yeah, I knew they would be a challenge for me to do the way they are supposed to be done so I experimented with a couple of them just by sticking them together one layer on top of the other in sequence. Seems to work well enough. I gave them the 3D effect just by putting the resin between the layers of fish and plants!

I have watched the RU-vid videos where the fish are put into scallop shells and little dishes and they make it look so easy. They must have had LOTS of practice🤣
