I've never had to treat for fungus, so this is very interesting to me. He looks good, so you must be doing something right. Looking forward to the next update. ❤
@@keepingitkoi I agree. It's something we all probably should learn, because in this hobby, you never know when things are gonna happen. Thank you again for walking us through the process. 👍
I had the same problem a few months back. tried a few of the usual things but to no avail. malachite green applied as you have done did the trick. was convinced i was going to lose him but he made a full recovery
I did a similar sort of thing many years ago with Gentian Violet , this was also for cotton wool . The gention basically burnt the scales off the fish , this was after reading the same advise off the internet . Hope this one doesnt have the same reaction and all pulls through ok . 👍👍
Sorry about the cotton.. I haven't had to deal with that fungus in a very long time and that was fish in a tank probably 20 years ago. Glad that stuff fell off. Obviously it's working. Best of luck my friend. Lol painting with Jamie Never used that wound sealer.
Thanks bud yeh I think it's working he's looking alot better and yeh I've not had to deal with this before so fingers crossed he makes a full and speedy recovery 🤞
As stated in this video and the last to pond is treated but all reports I have read and all the professionals I have spoken to advised to topically treat the koi for the cotton wool disease but thank you 😊
