KOKIA - Gematria (LAYERS ~lights and shadows~ concert 2016) Reaction 

Hi. :) I recommended this song, thank you sooo much for your reaction! Dominik Hundhammer wrote some important informations about this song, but I want to say that gematria is the practice of assigning a numerical value to a name, word or phrase according to an alphanumerical cipher, it's from hebrew alphabet, but word "gematria" is from greek, so maybe now that letters and ciphers in background have more sense. :) And this song was inspired on buddhist mantras, lyrics are in not existing language, I think it's mix of few languages like japanese, french, italian and latin, probably only Kokia know exact meaning of this song, but like she said, emotions are the same in all languages. :) And she is japanese. Oh, and all back vocals are her. If you're interested in react to more her songs, please react to song "Chouwa Oto" live from History concert tour 2012, another amazing song and performance. Or if you want to something little different, kokia has classical and operatic music education, in song "Il Mare Dei Suoni" she singing operatic, I recommend live performance also from History concert tour 2012. ;)

I think it was in the comments to one of your videos I met a guy who suggested this and I went to listen it, not waiting for a reaction... Maybe I got something wrong, but as far as I remember and understood Kokia invented the language for this song, she's Japanese I'd think...

This is so special I like this. I went looking but there is no translation of this song anywhere. On a website for translations under the question * Pleace can someone translate it * , some say it is 5 languages mixed up.... another said Sounds like a fictional language. At least it's not Japanese. 🥰

Gematria is a good song but It is hard to comment. I recommend "Chowa" or "I believe" for first KOKIA song.
