The app and it's meditation programmes are what really set Kokoon apart. I'm asleep within a few mins sometimes. Oh and they're also very good headphones! 9/10
My wife and I just ordered these and wanted a quick runthrough of some of the details. Already knew they'd be good from the kickstarter campaign that originally funded them. Great that you go through some of the details of the app and an idea of how they work and feel. Great review. 🖐🤚
I gotta say, you're the homie, and no doubt about it. I have always slept in headphones. I've broken some of them as a result and they're not that comfortable. I don't know how much of the sleep sensors and all that I'll use, but holy crap, these arrived yesterday and I took a little nap when they got here and slept in them last night and woke up feeling pretty good. Thank you for reviewing these.
For a cheap sleep solution check out the MaxRock Sleep Earphones. They are in-ear monitors made with a single body of silicone. That way the tips won’t come off in your ears. I pair the with Iceland White or Naturespace app which have some of the best environment recordings. Way better, more comfy and cheaper than the Bose Sleepbuds.
Farhan it is fine. But the ones I mentioned don’t completely seal, so allows for natural air flow. The main reason they work well for sleep is when combined with an app like Iceland White or Naturespace to produce ambient white noise for noise masking.
@@malfunkt thank you, so had a good look now. I live in the UK and it appears we have the wired version available. But can purchase the neck band "wireless" version from the states. Were you referring to either in particular? Thanks again
Farhan I use the wired. It’s cheaper, and I don’t want to worry about having to charge batteries and Bluetooth connections. For reference, I don’t use these headphones for critical listening. If you don’t need a sleep headphone then there are better like Etymotic. But it is fine for watching videos like this!
where can you find the serial number? mine are broken and need to send them for repair and they need the serial number and do you know how to clean them?
@@vc6218 they are amazing I live literally 200 feet from an active train track and when the active noise cancellation is on I can't hear the train I just feel the house shake when it goes by. As for sound I've not had any better. They re already great out of the box but when tweaked with the app it's amazing. I get about 25 to 26 hours out of them with heavy use I've been known to listen to music and watch videos for 16 hours at a time so yeah I love them.
@@vc6218 I think there's a misunderstanding here I don't have the kakoon headphones I have the sony wh1000xm3 and I don't sleep in them too afraid of breaking them. I manage my insomnia by quietly playing Lindsey Stirling on my Bluetooth speaker
Roberto Crescentini I use no dedicated app as such just ITunes and my playlists. I switch from Bose soundsport free , Jaybird Runxt and the Sony’s to have good sleep
Coolest of cats. Showing me what I did not know could help me out. ASMR is not as good without a clunky headset, and sleep is not good with any normal clunky headset. This sort of device should be a competitive market but it is not.
@@NewStuffTV1 That's actually a selling point for me. Thank you for this review and all your helpful feedback on others' questions. If I purchase these, I'll use your code.
