Carol bought a new inflatable kayak to take with us on our trip out west to Alberta and British Columbia. It's the Kokopelli Moki Lite Inflatable Touring Kayak Package.
Weighing 27 lbs, Kokopelli's new Moki Lite is an extremely versatile, high-pressure inflatable kayak featuring an open cockpit.
Three air chambers (one inflatable floor and 2 separate side chambers) utilize D7 Leafield military style valves.
The Moki Lite construction consists of a 1,000 denier reinforced PVC bottom which can be inflated to 4.5 PSI. The pontoons are constructed with 840 denier nylon and include separate internal 2.5-PSI PVC bladders (2 pontoon chambers). The inflatable floor is made of a rigid high-pressure drop-stitch floor to give the kayak a more rigid hull enhancing speed and tracking in the water.
A symmetrical (front/back) narrow trim allows the kayak to cut through the water with ease. This streamlined shape helps improve both the speed and tracking.
The Moki Lite has a 6-point quick-attach bungee storage system on both the front and back deck of the kayak. The bungee is connected at the end with a male-female ¾” buckle for quickly securing gear.
The comfortable EVA seat comes with quick-clip attachments to secure the seat in place. The seat is adjustable forward and backwards based on the paddlers height, and includes a bottom velcro attachment to keep the seat from slipping front/back if the boat gets wet.
The included foot brace also offers quick-clip attachments that attach to multiple daisy chain loops, allowing the paddler to adjust the length based on the leg length of the paddler.
The smaller silhouette and lighter weight is perfect for recreational paddlers who still want high-performance; it’s ideal for flat open waters and slow moving rivers. With the included carrying bag, pump and fiberglass paddle, you have just about everything you need to get on the water!

Kayak side strap is on wrong. The strap connects forward of the seat to hold the seat back when you press against it.

We have stand up inflatable paddle boards and we bought an electric pump for inflating. Ours plugs into the truck cigarette lighter and it wasn’t overly expensive on Amazon. Might be a good investment for you and Carol.

For everyone commenting regarding electrical pumps that are appropriate for inflatable SUPs, these kayak pontoons/sponsons are a VERY low-pressure item; most e-pumps will not register that 1-2 PSI range well. Some do, but be careful to use one that has a fine sensitivity to pressure. By hand, we can pump these up in a couple of minutes. The time exchange advantage, compared to an iSUP, for plug-and-walk away factor is nominal for a Moki Lite.

Hi from Kalispell, MT, I have the same kayak and now that winter is here how about a video on how to deflate and roll it up! Thanks!

My wife and I just just adore your vlog channel and after watching this video we both have just one question. Why would you spend over $800 US Dollar for a Kokpelli Mokie Lite Inflatable Kayak which takes so much work to inflate and deflate when you can get an amazing Kayak ready to go that fits inside your Camper Van for $500 USD or less. We take our Kayak in our camper van all the time which is around your size and have no issue with it and would never ever think about getting an inflatable Kayak that cost twice the price and the first tree root you hit in the river is the end of it... Return it Ken, get a real Kayak that has a bottom to withstand being punctured by Tree roots which are on every river and the main reason people stay away from inflated Kayacs .... Best of luck to both of you...

Because they are being paid to promote this inflatable product. It’s an advert disguised as a ‘vlog’ in an attempt to trick to viewer into a sense of realism instead of a straight up promotional advert. Did you fall for it?

Personally I would check into getting an electric pump for it. The floor wasn’t bad, bud those sides seemed hard
