Also cool to see the gen 3 Firebird - with flashing Kitt's red light. 😁

I don't think KIT had a amphibious option so you're one up on Michael Knight. I was looking at this for fishing but for $700 you could just about get the real deal. I am not seeing that price for an inflatable. Good vid overall. No long intro or outro and straight to the point without all the BS. Well done.

Thanks, we try to keep the videos short and concise. KITT actually had one episode where there was an amphibious mode (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pLFqj6-h4JA.html) but it was all done with scale models of course.

@@TheSweetCyclists you've got the car, I'd expect you'd know better than me. I was more of an A-Team, Dukes Of Hazard guy.

@@thefixer8387 Those are all great shows as well. The General Lee is also on my bucket list but they are quite pricey.

Good overview of the Moki Lite! It's a nice kayak. Another note is that the fin can get stuck a bit and it's helpful to have some small tool with you to help apply pressure to release it in case that happens.
@TheSweetCyclists
@TheSweetCyclists Год назад
Yea, the fin can take a fair amount of pressure to install remove. I imagine with extended use the tolerances should get larger and make it easier though.

I have one of these that fits nicely in my Velo. Similar issues with the floor. Almost like it's a bit too large. All in all it's a fun boat for day use and tracks reasonably well for an inflatable

Kokopelli actually has an unlisted video showing work-arounds for the rigid floor. I can't seem to find the video now but they seem to suggest not even sliding the floor into the holders and just evenly inflating the sides until the floor is level. It definitely seems like some sort of manufacturing or design issue.
@kokopelli314
@kokopelli314 Год назад
@@TheSweetCyclists yes the sides overlap the floor enough to hold it in place

Great video. I want to do kayak camping and looks like there wouldn't be enough storage to hold a tent, sleeping bag etc.

Thanks! Yea, it might be a bit tight for more gear with the Moki-Lite. Have you considered the Twain? It has a lot more space (especially in the one-person configuration) and it's smaller and easier to pack - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Plzvgz0hjA.html

This is a good video with a lot of good information here, and I like that you included your height because I found these online and cant get to the shop to physically see with my own eyes how they look in real life. Trying to decide over Moki 1 and Moki Lite, do you think this would be comfortable for a guy slightly over 100 kg?
@TheSweetCyclists
@TheSweetCyclists Месяц назад
I'm 6'1" and there is plenty of leg room in the kayak. It's also roomy side-to-side so you should be comfortable in the kayak. You may want to also consider the Kokopelli Platte, I have found it to be a lot quicker to setup (you don't have the fussy drop floor of the Moki-Lite to deal with) and lighter.

Is it enought for someone who is 1,92 long? What do you think? Your experience?
@TheSweetCyclists
@TheSweetCyclists 20 дней назад
Yes, I'm 6'1" and there is more than enough leg room left over to fit gear. The only complaint I have with the Moki-Lite is the drop-stitch floor which is nearly impossible to get perfectly centered. The Kokopelli Platte is lighter and easier to setup than this.

@@TheSweetCyclists ok thanks a lot do you think is still enough stable compare to Moki 1 ?yes i agree about the floor but works step by step to pump then is No problem i think

This was a helpful review and similar to my experience. My friend has a slightly earlier version (2021) of the Moki lite and it’s just a little more streamlined and definitely tracks better. Mine (2022) is a little wider and that much more clunkier. I heard the design was adjusted to accommodate slightly bigger bottoms. I have no clue if this is remotely true, but I notice quite a difference between the two versions.

Glad to hear you had a similar experience. Kokopelli now has the Platte kayaks which seems to address some of the Moki-Lite issues and it's even easier to setup. We have a review on it coming out this week.
