A freshly-transformed demon is feral, he didn't even have his mind. Still, if Kanao hadn't carried that cure, he would've eventually killed everyone there because no one could do anything that can harm him. A sentient DKT would high diff Yoriichi, low-mid diff Muzan, and no diff everyone else in the series. And if anyone had to fight feral DKT forever, they'd still lose the war of attrition eventually, and that's not even counting the possibility that the fight goes on so long that DKT regains sentience

Michikatsu has literally no feats. Going off of feats, abilities, and breathing style 13th form Tanjiro is the second strongest demon slayer hands-down

He was born during the Sengoku Era, Where Swordsman were at their Peaks with the mark and even before then very good abilities stated by Yorrichi, Himself (Try to contradict the Strongest Character in Demon Slayer). Michikatsu also states that he and Yorrichi are leagues above all the other Demon Slayers alive which would be at least around Sanemi Level (Kokushibo pretty much confirms this when he immediately recognizes Sanemi’s Forms and Genya’s Powers). Even if you have Sun Breathing, you aren’t immediately above everyone else. To prove this when Tanjiro had Sun Breathing in Entertainment District, he was barely beating Daki in a 1v1 while a Sound Breathing Tengen speed blitzed her before she could even react. I could give another, Tanjiro with STW and Selfless State (He should be at his Strongest BTW since his abilities and senses are at their freshest after just fighting Akaza while 13th Form Tanjiro was poisoned, Slowed way down, and was struggling to even keep STW going in the fight against 2nd-3rd Drugged Muzan which was about 10 minutes) and Giyu (He has his ribs broken and he’s been burning himself with his sword to stop his internal breathing) What Happens? Tanjiro gets absolutely bodied while Giyu is able to react to all his attacks and literally carry Tanjiro out of the fight even at Muzan’s point blank range. He was also fighting him after this for 30 minutes and could’ve kept fighting had he not sacrificed his arm for the Kamado Squad with Gyomei. He even helps pins Muzan with 13th Form Tanjiro with low Stamina, Broken Ribs, 1 arm, and half dead getting the Red Blade with him. After this he fights DKT. If Michikatsu can be way above A Prime Sanemi Level Era which is a little below A Muzan Speed Amped Giyu then he can definitely be above Tanjiro in all forms.

Imo 13th form Tanjiro was a substantially bigger threat to Muzan than any of the Hashira, and it's worth noting that his hinokami kagura had been upgraded to a more pure/original form of sun breathing immediately before the fight. We have that, and his long list of W's and feats, vs Kokushibo saying "I was like, super powerful back in the day, trust me bro." Yeah, I'm going with Tanjiro. If Koku really had that dawg in him, he would've killed Sanemi before Gyomei could arrive & he would've won that fight. Michikatsu having the STW puts him at the upper end of modern Hashira, but I have no reason to think he's necessarily stronger than Gyomei

Because Kokushibo reached the upper limit of his biological strenght the moment he realised he could regenerate his head making him immune to everything but the sun itself and the red blade. ALSO unlike Tanjirou he reached complete mastery of his sword and breathing style, the only thing left of his potential is the technicality that you never actually reach the complete mastery of a sword since there will forever be a way to increase and go beyond, even a tiny bit. All that to say its not because Tanjirou's potential is THAT high even had he trained the sun breathing and foufht shortly before the cursed mark killed him he would still be killed 1v1 vs Kokushibo ( though DTK is NOT Tanjirou's potential its Muzan's potential its because Muzan is Muzan that he is conceptually broken), someone like kid Yoriichi would have way more, or even Muzan shortly after becoming demon.
