I think the story is based on true events but is morphed so that an interesting plot could be made! Stalkers are very creepy and yes they can do anything.. people on social media sometimes forget that by revealing their personal information ( in any sense), they are indirectly inviting the world to harm them.. not only stalkers but sometimes fans may also create trouble..

Moral of the story: be alert, aware of your surroundings. Maintain privacy. Take actions before you regret. Don't trust anyone and by anyone I mean anyone(friends too) Be smart and calculative of situations For us it's a story for them it's their life exp.
