Great video. If you get a microscope another interesting thing to show is how the stone looks on it. A simple cellphone flashlight with sideways illumination helps to see stone topography. Another trick is that with a ruler and an image app can help you add a scale. I haven't explored natural stones with this but for synthetics I had many interesting surprises. For example some hard synthetic stones respond to conditioning similar to natural stones and relative grit will depend a lot on how you condition it. I have a 220 grit stone that behaves closer to a 700 grit because I rounded the abrasive on purpose. It cuts slower and leaves a smoother edge than what you would expect for the grit. Very few people do stone microscopy, would be cool to see what you make of it.

Thank you for another great video. It’s great to see a Koma bench stone in action given how expensive they are. Also I found your comments comparing Mejiro and Koma very interesting. Do you think doing a sort of macro photography of the scratch pattern is possible? I think it would be great to see and not just for the naguras but for all your reviews.
