@copperheadmarine I've used one before, your friend has one. His only has like 12" sides and could only carry like 8 - 10 yards of dry dirt max. This one may carry a little more with the 24" sides. They rent for like 2K a week!
I run one of these. Fun to drive . and yeah the cab and body will turn around like an excavator . Ive also seen one of the guys get to close to a ditch and lay it on its side.
Them crawler dump truck are awesome to have especially in wet , marsh and boggy place . Big plus if u got the one that top body can rotate to dump anyway .
ny neighbor has 2 of these not this new though. he put a tank in the back with some pvc pipe and uses it for a small water truck. he raises the bed to get the water to flow more.
for someone that knows his way around some heavy equipment I have never seen that before I bet that is good for the smaller jobs were convetional wheeled trucks can't get to
I wonder what the capacity is? I think it would take the place of a rock box when laying sewer line? Maybe? A lot of money for something that you wouldn't use every day?
