Should also be noted how many Finns supported the communists even after the winter and continuation war.

Yeah. After the civil war many reds died in concentration camps and communist activity was outlawed till 1944 when the communist party was allowed. Then there is the Finnish People's Democratic League that was formed in the same year as an united front of socialists and communists almost becoming the largest party in the first free elections. After the 1960's when the party became largest in parliament started the downfall of the working class movement. The eurocommunists got a majority in the finnish communist party but it held till the 80's. The gorbachovites took over and the party splintered. The democratic league was and the revisionists formed the new Left Alliance. Today the communists are weak and there are 3 "major" parties. The Finnish Communist Party not the original one, headed by revisionists, eurocommunists etc. Then there is the Communist Worker's Party which was formed in 1988 by the MLs who had been kicked out, still Marxist-Leninists to this day but quite dogmatic bunch left after they kicked out alot of their party members trying to create an united front againts the EU i think. These people then gone to form The Communist League and The Workers Party of Finland as an united front. They are Marxist-Leninists to this day with the most correct line i'd say. Then there are trots and maoists but yeah.

Finnish people bravely fought against the Red Nazism called Communism. Finns are proud of their heroes for defending their Capitalist Fatherland!
