This is definitely the song to play after youve finally accepted that you cant just run away from all the pain in life, that you cant just run away and cry hoping your mental instabilities go away. Youve accepted yourself and you have nothing to lose. You are finally happy, or at least content with youreself, and as you face the world with a new look on life you let all hell break lose and accept death with open arms. This isnt a sad song, it isnt a happy song either. But all in all its definitely one of my favorite songs.
I think this song has similar effect to Roundabout by YES. Since JOJO has used this heavily for the first 2 seasons. Especially when Zepplin accepted his fate.
Both shows show this aspect of trying to control something that is impossible to contain once it’s started. Both Eren and shinji give a similar sense of inevitability. Eren with his rumbling and Shinji with the third impact. The only difference is that Eren actively starting the end, fully aware of his actions whereas Shinji is dragged into something he cannot control and the decision had effectively already been made for him.
Kinda crazy how the vibe is totally different, in AOT it feels like despair and craziness, but with the EoE music, it just feels depressive and hopeless, the perfect contrast between these two masterpieces of anime media.
A big theory people take as canon is that everyone who "died" during the 3rd impact were screaming with pleasure not pain, since it gave them what they wanted most.
@@myman6841 (Many argue) Theorically, anyone can come back from the fanta if they wished from all of their heart or accept their own individuality. In the rumbling, all that's left for you is being crushed to ashes.
Well, the rumbling is actually worse lmao. Its slow, painful, you don't get to see Rei, its torture and you 100% stay dead. With the 3rd impact you get the chance to return.
@@chickenboi2452 last major thing i remember was Eren fought the Warhammer dude and that 1 guy became the super duper ultra-deluxe way too big for super smash brothers ultimate titan Now Eren is a war criminal and there's other countries
"I uhh... killed 80% of the global population because I want Mikasa to notice me" Vs "Using this Monstrous being infused with my Mother's spirit, I'm using the power that a 2,000 year old deity that found my sympathy gave to me to destroy all human suffering, hurrying up evolution so that we may no longer suffer the burden of human connection. This is humanities punishment for what they did to me. This is what we deserve."
@@giornogiovanna1267 Spoiled dude I'm sorry. He killed 80% of the population in the manga, nearly destroying it. I don't know if the anime will have an original ending.
I would much rather suffer through the rumbling than third impact or human instrumentality, imagine having to conjoin your memories and soul with every human being, even if you choose to be independent you still have all that psychological torture engraved in your mind
@@jimmjam_the_flimflam4344 it depends on how quickly you come to realization, a person could easily have their mind dug through and fused for a much longer time, a fate (arguably) worse than death
I’ve only seen the last episode and “the end of Evangelion” so I’m probably missing some crucial scenes, but the idea of having no emotional walls to keep out your friends and loved ones, and being able to see their struggles, it’s kind of wholesome
To be fair, you've got to be a real dingbat to hold your ships stationary, unless you're doing shore bombardment and you're _totally_ certain of control of the sea. Against a mobile enemy you'd always keep your ships in motion so that you could keep the range open to the optimal distance for plunging fire (e.g. kite the enemy toward the end of your ballistic arc)
Well, you need to understand the context of what's happening here. The titans are not just going after the boats or even the cannons on the beach. They are going after everything. The ships attempting to kite or maneuver would no matter what be tossed by the titans as they are literally making landfall everywhere. In short, moving wouldn't have done them any favors in this case.
If you can't find "ü" just use "ue" it's a correct option. Using only "u" is completely different. "Es ist schwül draußen" = "It's humid outside" VS "Es ist schwul draußen" = "It's gay outside"
This gives a you can do nothing about the world ending feelings whereas Attack on Titan is about the very fact that you CAN do something about it. You just have to make that choice, choose against all odds, against all comfort to save life itself.
"Feel the best thing I could do Is end it all and leave forever What's done is done, it feels so bad What once was happy now is sad" "It all returns to nothing It all comes tumbling down Tumbling down, tumbling down" "It all returns to nothing I just keep letting me down Letting me down, letting me down" Why do these lyrics explain the end of AOT so well? like at the start of the song, Eren feels bad for doing it but has to do it and has no option, so the best thing he could do is keep the timeline going and let himself get killed, and what once was a happy world is now ruined by Eren. It all returns to nothing. The cycle will always repeat itself, no matter what. There will always be war, and humans will keep killing and fighting due to hatred for each other. As the timelines are endless each time everything takes place, Eren knows what's going to happen, but he can't find a definite solution for it except for killing everyone including the alliance. Unable to do it, Eren keeps letting himself down. Isayama definitely took heavy inspiration for evangelion; you can't convince me otherwise.
Hubris in action. The world declared war on a nation with the unstoppable ability to wipe out all life on Earth. It was at that moment everyone on Earth realized, “I fucked up.”
The fact that the collosals could be defeated by a single Naval round makes me wonder why not just have one massive offensive ON THE SHORE, The navy will be sandwiched yeah but at least then you have, your naval guns, your shore mounted naval guns, any nearby train guns and anything the blimps were able to pull off. At least on the shore the Collosals would be slow and visible to see unlike in the mniddle of the ocean where the are actively swimming under the water and you have to guess where they are.
