Kon Tiki Museum, Oslo Norway 

A fascinating visit with one of my favorite museums about a voyage I read about as a kid over 50 years ago. Kon Tiki. The adventures of Thor Hierdahl and his perseverance in trying to prove his theory that peoples from America could have sailed to Polynesia on ancient balsa wood rafts long before the days of European exploration. He put his theory to the test in 1947 and after 101 days he had traveled on the winds and currents from Peru to South America.
