Tony Khan had CM Punk vs The Elite right in his hands, the storyline that everyone wanted. Instead it's The Elite vs Kenny Omega (a guy who may not be able to wrestle again if surgery doesn't work out well for him) & Tony Khan (a mark who people can't stop laughing at).

I feel so sorry for Swerve. He should be the main focus of AEW right now, instead it's the Young Bucks once again. Don't expect tv ratings or ticket sales to improve any time soon.

it's impossible to get excited about anything AEW does now. It's been 5 years and all we've seen is hundreds of angles that lead to nothing of importance at all. AEW always goes back to the start when an angle was done.

No one likes Tony Khan, even the mega AEW marks have had it with Khan. He will not be the sympathetic babyface in this story. He should know better.

This angle also continues to showcase Tony has zero authority and power.

The story sucks for a few reasons... 1. Once again, The Elite are in the main story of AEW. Seems like all the best stories are reserved for them. 2. Their world champion, Swerve, seems like a secondary character in the promotion and not the Main Guy he should be. 3. The Young Bucks EVP heel persona ain't doing it for me. I don't buy them as these high-ranking douchebags. They seem like children playing what they believe EVP's are. They still seem like the same ol' young bucks not these new characters. 4. The rest of the roster could use a good story WAY MORE than The Elite. 5. Okada seems like a third wheel. Remember, when it was Omega vs. Okada in the Tokyo dome, the bucks were Omega's "hype men" outside the ring, now I'm supposed to believe they're bigger than Omega and Okada?! Pfft!

Yes, they have. AEW botched Undisputed Kingdom in a matter of seconds, literally. A 4-5 month build up to be completely botched at the PPV.

AEW has a bad track record of putting muscle in stables that do nothing. Jake Hager, Wardlow, Brian Cage, and now Okada.

This is a huge problem for AEW in both kayfabe and shoot. The Bucks are heels and it maybe wise to lean into Jungle Boys alleged real life unlikability. But i don't think he has enough charisma either way - he gives me turn the show off heat, rather than heel heat. Plus let's be honest, take away Okada and these are hardly the most intimidating set of guys. However, how is Tony a Face? The Nepo baby, who runs a company that is apparently so incompetent that his employees have a contract that means you can assault the owner, is the face?! But at the same time, whilst Jungle Boy can claim he was scapegoated to be the face, how on earth can Tony be heel? I don't care how many roles in his Father's business empire he's been parachuted into, what his position within the Jaguars, and Fulham is, Tony is not an impressive man. Accusations aside for a moment, Attitude Era Vince, as well as performing his role well, had Gravitas, you could take him seriously as a devious, manipulative, power hungry boss (rooted in truth, when you consider his ruthless extermination of the Territories). Even Eric Bischoff was a gifted on screen perfomer who gave off a smarmy, cunning vibe as the power behind the muscle of the NWO, and had that shit eating grin that worked so well. Tony is a very unnatural performer, very stilted and in either kayfabe or shoot there are so many issues. Just doesn't work for me.

I route for Keepin it 100, but it isn't going to grow because it sounds so unprofessional with Konnan constantly doing construction or whatever in the background over the audio. It's so distracting, because you're busy wondering WTF he's doing instead of listening.

Tony can't travel.....except to and from the NFL Draft and home. lol. Yeah bad concept from the start. zero depth of thinking. Not to mention he was dancing at one of the shows last week infront of the audience in his neck brace lol. its just angles and excuses for matches in AEW. when they attempt storylines they lack coherent depth and thought most of the time. If tony feared for his life over Punk yelling at him. He should be in his room with armed security jumping and screaming at any noise like a paranoid mad man after getting the meltzer driver. . But it's too late now. it has already been mishandled and nobody cares except AEW marks that will say anything they do is good.

Everything on the show is a botch. The booking and the storylines is just a mess. Tony Khan needs to stay off camera cause he can't work or sell in the ring.
