Not sure if you knew this, but the whole "Yes yes, I'm Kazuma" joke was never in the novels. It wasn't part of the script, but the voice actors were just bouncing off each other's energy and it just kinda stuck after the first few times

The thing I love about Konosuba is that you can pick any one of the character and write an interesting story about them. Also Kazuma is the most realistic protagonist ever, he doesnt act all heroic to save the day, he will hide behind his meatshields and fight dirty.

truth, some youtube channels have talked about how this show works so well, and it's b/c of the interactions of the characters w/eachother. It feels like a real group, they don't always agree and it doesn't always work, everyone gets on eachothers nerves, but in the end you are always there for eachother and you know everyone has your back. All the jokes land b/c you can believe all of it.

A few fun facts. 1) if you look at 29:06, Kazuma is so scared by Darkness' speech that he holds Aqua's hand in fear (something he would never do even if his life depended on it). That alone shows just how...unsettling Darkness can be. 2) its hinted at that the reason why Darkness developed her "habit" was because her father spoiled her and gave her endless freedom as a child after her mother died. She had so much freedom to the point that she felt like it was wrong, and so her masochism (specifically her want to be pinned/tied down) is kinda like a revolt against that endless freedom. In short, she is a noble who does not want nobility, but to live a simple life as an adventurer. Adventuring on her own did also play a role in developing her habit. 3) despite Darkness's fantasy's, she is still a virgin, but she does like to...do herself hardcore every night when no one is around XD

Some may find Konosuba as just another perverted isekai, but this anime has became one of my all time favorites after I watched it. Kazuma and how he doesn't take bullshit, Aqua and how she's both useless and incredibly useful, a perverted female Knight and Megumin who is both the weakest and strongest character. I can't wait for ya'll to watch the next episode, one of my fav characters gets introduced

Spoiler Alert: The fact that at first when darkness was just starting and she's always alone and ironically met the first friend she have 'Chris' that she introduced to her father makes it more wholesome knowing that Darkness worship Eris and Chris is Eris who was just wandering in the surface and serves as the bridge for Darkness to meet Kazuma and gang is pretty much very wholesome to me.
