Part 1: • Kool Rock-Ski on Drake...
--------
In this clip, Kool Rock-Ski opened up about The Fat Boys dropping their second album, "The Fat Boys Are Back," which went gold, and starring in the movie "Krush Groove." While speaking about working on the movie, Kool Rock-Ski revealed that The Fat Boys were initially only supposed to be in it for three minutes, but they were told by executives that they would be in for more scenes for comic relief. After stealing the show in the movie, they were given a deal with Warner Bros, which led to them starring in "Knights of the City" and "Disorderlies." Kool Rock-Ski also spoke about The Fat Boys getting crossover appeal into mainstream music with their fourth album, "Crushin'," which featured the smash hit "Wipe Out." To hear more, hit the above clip.

It's so sad how brainwashed black men of the older generations were. If you smiled, you were soft. If you spoke properly, you were soft. And if you tried something different (like listening to Rock or pop form music) you were trying to be white. I'm not the biggest millennial fan in the world. But what I do appreciate about this generation over my own, is that they're not afraid to be different and try different things. But still, nothing but love for the Fat Boys. Rip Buff and Prince.

This era of rap was the perfect example to track the evolvement of computerized technological music equipment. The drum machines early on were effectively necessary to the hip hop sound, but by their last album, there was a more professionally modern sound in terms of back tracking as well as hook creation. Interesting to hear them evolve musically . Think I prefer the old school drum machine and Buffy making more out of less, but their last album proved they could move with the times and produce new era sounds.

I had a tabanka, and the song Fallin in love got me out of it in Trinidad and Tobago. Shot out to the fat boys, under rated song.

Me 2! As a kid I thought it was awesome. It felt good. But of course music starting changing when NWA came. However, before NWA and 2 live crew, fat boys and Kid and Play were my first albums I brought! I loved them
