Pecky or should we say the Terminator is an absolute LEGEND... Really enjoyed this podcast, great to get a few insights into his career... Bob on Pecky
I've listened to this podcast a fair few times and it's so inspirational in his drive and determination to put as much effort as possible an know it has to be spot on .. I totally get his selfish out look to be better than the next angler.. an that's what makes the difference
Really enjoyed this podcast. Took Pecky's tip about fishing where water runs into a lake. I'd never thought to do it before and had two runs, landed one. 15lb, not massive in the carp world, but my biggest from this particular lake. Very happy, thanks Darrell!
Such a great watch/listen. I used to fish with Darrell back in the early - mid 90’s when we were 11-14/15 years old, and even back then you just knew he had a natural instinct for finding fish. He’s a year younger than me but I learnt everything I knew from him. He was learning himself but he had confidence in everything he did. As we were so young we were limited to fishing the Chelmer & Central Park lake but he used to catch everything he was fishing for. He just knew what to do. His talent is natural and I’m absolutely not surprised that he’s gone into great things within angling.
Darrell is up there with hearn ,crowy Briggsy etc..not afraid to do the hard work and a very likeable lad .keeps it REAL and catches the fish big respect for him and keep it up Darrell 🎣👌👊
@@davidshaw442 sorry mate but going off of induvidual captures I don't agree, Terry has caught carp none of those others would have done. Namely the seal from his most recent book. Then when you have people like Steve alcott, dave lane, nigel sharp and Jim Shelley who just catch absolutely everything I don't think you could put either of those nash guys on there level. Not in the UK anyway, abroad Is a different story
Credit to Korda - another great podcast. A very interesting guest but only as good as the questions that are asked. The guy interviewing is superb - who is he?
Ok 1st of all, peck is the carp god here on earth and such an inspiration to us mere mortals 👌 but can you please tell the host he dont need the mic half way into his mouth for us to hear him his loud af - and keeps waking up the misses 😆 thought dannys podcast would take some beating but he been well n truly pecked off here lol
Seen Darrell live and he takes some beating in my opinion when it comes to telling a story. Giving TH some story telling competition I reckon. Well done on the podcast guys. Near on three hours flew by.
Did everyone miss the little dig at mr Shelly scooping up the ferry linear and claiming it’s capture? Read Jim’s book and make your own mind up,no smoke without fire
I'd love Darrel to come do a week on the scaffolding with me, If he thinks being on a inland sea/ Res for 2 weeks being hard pmsl a week with my gang on the scaffold would retire him Lol ..100% pecky got soft girly hands lololol Great pod cast guys pecky is living his best life....good on him he's living my dream
I'm a beginner in carp angling and I've never heard of the old time big carp to me and everyone I know a 60lb carp ,mirror, common don't matter its a dream fish for me anyway :)
He is so roght in hes what makes a good angler speech. Finding the weaknesses. So many people just turn upto a lake and throw the same rig out and throw a load of boilie out but them big hard to catch carp you have to be smart.
Jeleous haters mate that's all it is....he's a genuine nice bloke and an angling legend. If I saw him fishing I'd be the first to shake his hand and pick his brains for some tips
Your not wrong! Over the years I have done 3x 3 week sessions and that 1x 5 week session to Orient. All mega experiences and boy hood dreams realised but ultimately too much for a family man these days. Iv come to realise 7-10 nights is plenty long enough 👌🏻
when he says that scot bloke, whats his name scot lloyd,-- like he doesnt know, when everybody that ever fished burfield knows every angler to ever catch the common and where they caught it from , and scot caught it without opening any new swims up,like other people did, to get to its hiding zones, he did it fair and square, that scot bloke pffff
lazy carper really! I couldn’t pull his name off the end of my tongue for a split second and then you say I was discrediting his capture because the swim had previously been closed! You cannot discredit any capture of the BF, and I simply wouldn’t. Scott messaged me to say he liked the podcast...stop hating man 🤯
@@darrellpeck4938 say it as i see it, read my comment ,its not hating, i dont do that, and im not saying you discredited his capture because of swims, im saying he did it , unlike other anglers that have opend swims in the past , so it got caught ,and it did look alittle discredit when you didnt remember his name but no biggie forget it,
Rodney Carper yes Rodneyyyy hahaha!! Podcast was sweet and I wasn’t offended so nobody else should be for sure, usually my name is always on your mind though 😘lol!!
