Soft & Moist Vegan Soboro Ppang 소보로빵, Korean Peanut Streusel Bread
It’s the Most Popular Sweet Bun In Korean Bakeries! I hope you enjoy the recipe 💕

INGREDIENTS - 8 pieces
Dough
200g warm soy milk
37g sugar (you can use raw cane sugar)
4g active dry yeast
300g plain flour
3g salt
30g unsalted vegan butter (room temperature)
Soboro - Peanut streusel topping
35g unsalted vegan butter
30g peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
40g sugar (you can use raw cane sugar)
70g plain flour
30g almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Bake in a preheated oven at 350F/180C for 10 - 12 minutes
🌱 Tips
- In the winter, to raise the dough, put the bowl with the dough in a bigger bowl with warm water
- Put some soboro on top of the dough before you press so that the dough doesn’t stick to your hands
- You can add a bit of corn starch syrup to soboro if you want it to be crunchy
- Rest the dough in a warm place

I made these yesterday, I had to tweek the crumble recipe a little to adjust to the ingredients that I had. It was delicious :D We now have soft buns for our breakfasts yay! Thank you for sharing :)

The taste of these were amazing!! I think I measuredy ingredients wrong so mine didn't come out nice and fluffy. They were a bit dense. But I'm keep to try this recipe again with the proper measurements! Thank you for such lovely recipes. (:

It’s bit difficult to measure exact ingredients but if you try, you’d like it so much! I tried it many times and the recipe is perfect for this bread as vegan! I’m happy to hear you liked it and let me know next time if you tired again!😊

I haven’t tried it but it would be fine but you will need some butter to make crumble ☺️let me know the results
