How long did you stay in I-house for your study abroad and how did you move out. I’m study and yonsei in 3 weeks and staying at I-house too, but now I’m a little scared for the dorms
i think i was there for like a month? on the yonsei dorm website there’s an option to leave, it gives you info on how much of a refund you receive depending on how early you leave i’ll be honest that i really didn’t enjoy my time in i-house, the dorms were dirtier, the bathrooms clogged, and it was much less social than sk global during my time :( i ended up moving into a REALLY expensive airbnb and wish i had knew how much i wouldve hated it so i couldve chosen sk global or found a nicer non-dorm option but on the other hand some people thought i-house was fine considering nobody i knew in the building ultimately moved out
@wendyah___ I'm hoping to come here next year in the summer as ihouse is a decent amount cheaper than global house, do you think its worth paying the extra for global or stay with Ihouse and have more spending money?
I think it depends on what is more important to you! I assume SK Global will be more social but if you don't want the social life/will be fine making friends regardless then I feel like it isn't that big of a benefit. If you don't mind it being not as clean (maybe you won't be in the dorm often/given the cheap cost you're willing to accept it) then it also could be a sacrifice you're willing to make! *to answer your question that I forgot lol for me personally I would've liked SK Global over having more spending money because cleanliness and social life were important for me @6568
