Kim Soo Hyun is more than just a pretty face! I've been watching him since Dream High and we can't really deny his talent in acting. He deserved that award more than anyone.

honestly, it doesn't matter who won. There will always be unsatisfied people. Everyone deserves an award. Whether your favourite actor/actress received an award definitely doesn't make them a better or worse person. They all worked hard and I'm proud of each and everyone of their efforts.

Congratulations to all the winners of the 8th annual Korea Drama awards. Kim Soo-hyun i am so proud of him, he worked really hard throughout his career, and he was finally awarded top prize for all his hard work paying off. Seemed like a couple of categories were missing from the show, but perhaps that was done on purpose for time constraints? Nonetheless, I'm happy for all the winners. Park Chanyeol too, he will have a very bright future in acting following EXO Next Door. Only the beginning for him. Keep fighting everyone!!! ^_^

I'm a fan of EXO and Chanyeol is one of my bias but honestly, I don't think he should be the best new actor. I mean, you have Yook Sungjae (Taekwang) and Nam Joohyuk (Han Yian) and they're clearly better actors than Chanyeol. I'm not belittling Chanyeol's hard work but his acting is indeed awkward and not very natural. I think we all know why he won.

+Chng JR Yeah, to be honest I enjoy watching EXO Next Door and Chanyeol is my bias in EXO. But, we must be fair...the other nominees are able to portray better acting than Chanyeol like Sungjae, Joohyuk, and even the last nominee (sorry, I forget the name). Their character in that drama also need more acting skills than Chanyeol's character in EXO Next Door. So, is this award fully depending on votes or judges' assessment?

okay please don't hate but this is so messed up. There were so many good ones best new actor category nominees but in the end it was still popularity. Like EXO-L please don't bash but seriously? I love EXO too but Chanyeol acting was kind of...awkward. I honestly and actually think Yook Sungjae and Nam Joohyuk performance for Who Are You: School 2015 was way better. Just my opinion. Thanks.

guys, we should totally vote next timeeee! Cause Kim Soohyun fan here since dream high and like not a EXO-L fan. But, Jisung should have won:( and even DO from EXO would've been better, like one of you said. Best newcomer should have been Sungjae although I've liked Joohyuk since the Mermaid drama. sighhhhh.

KBS really messed up with the awards this year. It's a shame that deserving people didn't receive awards. It was more of a popularity award. Kill me Heal me didn't get the recognition they deserved and don't even get me started on the new comer award. :/

With all those amazing actors in those seats, if I was Chanyeol I'd be scared to even think of getting a prize/award. I don't think the system of choosing winners of awards is the best or even good.
