i am livinggg for travel vlogger dee! i’ve been watching for 5+ years and seeing her growth and being able to live out her dreams makes me so happy, and inspires me to get my money up. the funny is up, but the money ain’t 🤣 south korea is wonderful, can’t wait to watch 🥰❤️
These vlogs are really inspiring me to just get up and book a trip out of the country. Apart of me was just always too skeptical to go by myself, but I'm really itching to just say the hell with it! Living life to the fullest is way better than living a life of fear and regret❤ Btw, Your camera work is always Top Notch🙌🏽
That’s awesome to hear, definitely go! You’ll be waiting forever if you wait for other people! Solo traveling isn’t as intimidating as it seems, once you get into it, you’ll be addicted lol wishing you amazing travels ❤️
@DeeShanellTV Thank you, Dee!❤️ Yes, waiting on others will definitely have you waiting forever. And I am not on that type of time anymore! Your solo trips do make it seem so less intimidating and adventurous! Keep doing what you're doing because you are really helping us folks out here😩❤️
Dee "I'm not lightskin, it's the lighting" Shanell 🤣🤣🤣. No way you keep saying this with a straight face. It's gaslighting at this point 😂😂😂 Nice vlog btw😎😎
I liked your rant at the end, both the roast of that close-minded girl and the inspirational speech lol. I always felt tied down to habits, and I feel like you’ve inspired me to open my mind more to life’s variety of experiences, even in small ways, like you mentioned.
Love this, so glad I could be an inspiration of some sort! But yes, definitely don’t be hindered by your habits. If you do the things you’ve always done, you’re gonna have the life you’ve always had. Gotta try things way out your norm in order to change your life, wishing you amazing experiences in the future ❤️
You want good food, stay away from the fancy places 😂go to the authentic places, the grandmas be putting their elbow in that food and the chicken spots are delicious
It looks like they did both. That fancy restaurant looked so cool though, I've never been to a place like that. Sometimes you just visit lavish restaurants for the experience, I wanna go now LOL
@jamielynn42 yeah thats one thing I'll give other places, the creativity is insane 😳 like I've never seen that in my life...but they gotta work on the food 😂i think its cause at these fancy restaurants they are making food not from their culture, its the food you learn how to make a culinary school, but their cultural food be sooo good like dee said the fried crab was the best thing she ate at that restaurant 😂
@@jamielynn42 spot on! Lol we went to small local restaurants almost the entire time, I pointed out how good a lot of them were. Just wanted to try a new experience at the fancy spot, glad we did :)
Im so glad you were able to experience this!!! Im a huge skincare nerd so im crossing my fingers for some Korean skincare videos or just skincare in general tbh Either way Im here for all of this ❤️
These vlogs are so dope i love how open minded you are to trying new things like that’s how everyone should be while travelling… some people go into countries with so much judgement they don’t get to enjoy anything. Loved this and your cinematography is A1💯
I'm so glad that you do "you" regardless of ANYONE'S opinion. And usually those who ain't doing nothing, always talk about those who are. Enjoy your life and keep your spirit FREE.
Travel vlogs are all about new places, new adventures and new experiences and it is great to share in the travels of others. For those of us that aren’t adventurous or are unable to travel due to finances or whatever it may be, watching vlogs such as this is almost like travelling vicariously through the person sharing their experience. So for anyone to be commenting about what they wouldn’t do is unnecessary as it is really not about them and I agree that people should keep their BASIC comments to their BASIC selves.
Lol right! I’m thankful that most of you guys feel this way and can enjoy the vlogs for what they are, whether you would do the activity or not. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts 💕
I love the COEX mall! It's unfortunate that you weren't able to go to the N Seoul tower. The cookies you had at the shop looked like yakgwa a traditional cookie. The little hole in the wall places are definitely where you want to go when you eat out. I hope you also get to try soondae the next time you go. I was very scared to try it before living in Korea and now it''s a fave.
hey what's up dee huge fan. just a little video idea suggestion from me, since your huge on travelling and very well experienced in it. I would love to watch a video where you talk about your travelling experience when it comes to airport hacks. best airlines, miles and points and how you accumulate them, experience with business or first class flight if you've been on them and the difference between airlines in the states, Europe and Asia etc. your favourite economy flights, best airports, things you do before travelling. it would be a really interesting video to watch. thanks
You're so brave dee i would never ever eat anything raw lol just the texture is no for me. But the video was fun and your editing is on another level. That would be nice if we see day of your life or just bts of ur editing lol. But i enjoyed this video alot.
You are so good at vlogs but I also want to say I went to South Korea in 2019 with my bestfriend and was there for 9 days I recommend if you ever go back…Trick eye museum, love museum(which is wild,Hongdae was super cool but we were 22 and we were clubbing but it is a lot more to do but I just looked up different things and just recommend doing more local stuff then the super expensive 😊 but overall this was really cool to see
DEEE LITERALLY I WAS STRESSING BC I WAS ABOUT TO START A PROJECT FROM MY CLASS AND I WAS LIKE DAM I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO SEE WHILE IM DOING AND I SEE THAT U POST LIKE DAM THE TIMING WAS PERFECT UR VLOGS ARE REALLY GOOD STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND CERY CHILL AND EASE TO SE ❤❤❤❤
I love your vlog Dee! From someone who has been here from the beginning to see you doing what you always wanted to do which is traveling, love this for you!! Very inspiring as it is my dream to also travel!🩷
Getting instant throwbacks to when u watched soo youngs video of her eating that live octopus and it latching onto her face & u being disgusted 😅😂 oh how things change
Dee, if you go again hit up Doota Mall in Dongadeamun, super cute stuff for ladies there ! Did you buy any hair ribbons by the way ? The highlight of Asia is getting dome shoes or a shirt, dress or suit made for you...give em a pic or a drawing an theyll whip it up in 2 weeks!! Itaewon, and side store shops in other places will do it for you ! I know its a lot of walking, its preferred to the buses for a tourist, you really need like 3 weeks there !
YES ! Never mind all the haters! I have a son who lives in China.. Been there for 4 yeas now. Lived in Korea for close to 10 years. He is living his best life!! Im from Ohio.
I would like to go back to Korea as a civilian because I was in the Army the last time I was there I have some good times and bad times. Most of the bad times were the Army stuff tho. And yes at first you will have stomach problems at first eating the local food then its all good after. I lived there for a year north of Seoul more towards the DMZ closer to North Korea area.
This was my first time watching you and I truly enjoyed this. I am living an adventure through you. I understand you skin was acting up a little but Beautiful Queen your skin is like porcelain and I need some tips. I have been wanting to also try Korean skincare, but I have sensitive skin and not sure what to try. Be Blessed!
Your trip footage is gorgeous!! South Korea citizens have been through a lot in the recent yrs since the early 2000’s . Their justice system when dealing with SA victims are practically none existence and so much police and government corruption it would have you clutching ur pearls in disgust. Just to list a few cases: Most hated man in South Korea Sewol ferry incident Itaewon Halloween Crowd surge (2022) Burning sun case (most recent) Stephanie soo is the best source for these case if you or anyone is interested, these are not for the faint of heart😢
With the train situation its kinda similar to georgia like all the streets have duplicate names "n peachtree street" "south peachtree street" "peachtree" so its so easy to get lost and be going in circles 😂its annoying
@@DeeShanellTV japan being easy makes me happy cause i wanna move there, so thanks for the info...also hi dee ayyye😊i love seeing your vlogs cant wait to see more
Omg I was stationed in South Korea in 08-10. I love their food like Bulgogi, bimbim bop, the cheese ramen, kimchi. All the American restaurants are better than ours like McDonald's have Bulgogi burgers and shrimp burgers. Pizza hut has all kinds of seafood pastas. Dang u should of went to Camp Humphreys ville for this wing spot called BHC(big hit chicken) Omg still the best wings I ever had to this day. They use sunflower oil to fry them omg so good. Baby that's all we ate was BHC. Osan and Pyongtek were the shopping spots for me.
yesss saudi arabians unite 😆👏 but yes she mentioned a couple of years ago that she was interested on going here but she said tell me what's really there so i can see if i wanna go!
@@St0nePr1me Yeah i remember smth along those lines. And ppl were crying in the comments with their made-up propaganda 😂 I really hope she comes in winter and enjoy the winter vibes!
@@Noaf. Oh really! glad i missed it cuz... ooh i would've been arguing with randoms on these comments all over again 🤣🤣 But yes she should! definitely better than this hot cruel summer!
Yeah but they don't care if their people aren't bearing any kids that's why their population is declining, not to mention that "development" is caused by overworked workers who want to end it all. That's why self deletion is high in that country.
@@ERRATAS0707 everything takes sacrifice...the more pain and misery but more success and advancement and considering Korea's geopolitical situation its pretty damn impressive where it is today.
@@user-ip8bw7gt2xThere's sacrifice and then there's unsustainable conditions. There are reasons why the Koreans that can leave to work and live in other countries, do leave (not enough jobs that pay enough, every job expects you to give 200%, 3 hours of sleep a night, limited rentals, having to put 30% of an apartment total market value down to get a place, over inflated real estate prices).
Referring to the person that said they could never hang off the side of the building. That person is more likely giving you a compliment saying how brave you are. At least that would be the meaning if I said it.
