FINALLY an update on whether or not the Climate Card Tourist Pass is reusable - the ANSWER is YES! ① 30-day pass - Before expiration of the usage period: You cannot select the usage start date or change the type of card (Automatically extended to the expiration date + 30 days; whether the Seoul public bike [Ttareungi] is included cannot be changed) (Reloading the card before expiration is available from 5 days before the expiration date to the date of expiration. I think the issue with the climate card is that it really limits your stay to the inner circle of Seoul. which is fine if you are only there for a few days. but if you want to go hiking for example or go to Suwon or anywhere outside of Seoul, you cannot use this card anymore. Even within Seoul you really need to pay attention where you get on and off, because if the destination station is outside of the climate pass circle, you have to pay and additional fee... and it's a whole long list of stations that constitute the border of the usage pass, you need to keep it with you and make sure on the map that you are not crossing it over. and you cannot use it on Sinbundang either.
i get it - though it still is a cheaper alternative thank tmoney if you plan to spend at least a few days in Seoul The money saved can be used for your travels outside of Seoul =)

I read from the official website that foreign tourists are to purchase the Climate Card at the Tourist Info Centers only. It's confusing. Also, is the Climate Card rechargeable? We plan to stay for 9 days so we will purchase the 7-day pass initially.

First of all thanks for the video! I was very confused after watched the video. We'll be staying in Seoul for 3 days. After watching your video, we decided to buy climate card but it doesn't sell at the Incheon Airport right? What do you suggest us for transportation from Incheon Airport to Seoul center? Should we buy one way AREX train ticket or buy a tmoney card and paid with it. After we arrive at Seoul, buy climate cards? Thanks.
The climate card does not cover arex or transport outside of Seoul, definitely get an arex ticket as that is the cheapest option - once you’re in Seoul hunt down the climate card the locations listed in the video :)
Great video! Question, the DSP doesn't include free bus/train within Seoul, correct? For this reason, do you recommend the Climate Card as well to get around Seoul and use the DSP for attractions? Thanks!!!

Question for you. When I read the User Guide for Climate card, it states that it only covers the base fare of 1500 won. Is that true? I don't know if there are any trips within Seoul that will be above 1500 won, but if there is, it won't cover it?
