One tip for future travelling. The gps on google maps doesn't need internet, so you can get around.

Brother you have to be careful. 1. The shin ramen you had both times isn’t halal. They contain and/or have risk of beef and pork cross contamination. 2. The drink pouches (most) contain alcohol in them. I think the one you had does have, alot of the peach and grape ones and most companies contain alcohol (주정) in ingredients 3. The food stalls cannot be trusted when they have just a “halal” label especially if they are not a muslim vendor. When asking what halal means, many Korean vendors do not know even though they have the halal sign or think halal only means “no alcohol and no pork sold here”. There are very limited places we can eat actual halal chicken/meat, even if the meat is, alot of Korean based foods contain mirin or some sort of potential alcohol in the sauces.

Even the seafood ramens contain pork. Majority of their ramens contain or are produced in a factory that also has pork handling. There is a 24hr ramen convenience store that has some halal options for your next visit. Also the hongdae bbq place is untrustworthy. Most of their stuff is not halal meat and many places just have halal sign. It is best to ask for certification or ask owner what halal means to verify the status. Most halal places are in Itaewon and Myeongdong but in restaurants like Busanjib, Kampungku, and a few other Malaysian places and Halal Guys in Hongdae. I hope this helps In sha Allah.
