Love that the Brand Consultant are using Jolly and Korean Englishman as examples of successful channels with Korean content for ALL the world, not just Koreans.
right because somehow in your brain Brits = all the world. what is your comment even? and what would it matter if they only used Korean content creators? not sure why you'd have a problem with that. you foreigners swear like you invented this shit.
@@dianawoo8961 Ok, what the F**k are you on about? My comment is a positive take on the fact that a brand consultant in the US is looking to KE and Jolly as an example of two successful brands, two brands from the UK, not US. Nowhere in my comment did I equate Brits = all the world. And as for the foreigner part of you comment, If you don't live in Sweden then you are a foreigner to me, So take a step back and chill with your xenophobic comments.
Ollie saying "Golfers are like rabbits, you can't talk too loudly or they'll scamper through the bushes" at 5:31 had me wheezing lol. This man's analogy and humor are always top tier. Anw I enjoy this collab more than i should, Chef Cho seems so nice and friendly.
JOLLY certainly knows how to keep our interests afloat. Seems like they’re all living their own lives to the fullest. May God bless everyone around here.
As a South Carolinian living in Korea, I am SO excited to see you guys in my home state :D I'm sure you aren't there right now, but if you ever go back please consider trying Low Country Boil (aka Frogmore stew [doesn't contain frogs]) and Gullah Geechee cuisine! The Gullah Geechee people have a unique culture, and the push to preserve the culture and food has been growing. Thanks for all your hard work making these videos - they always make my day.
Do you ever watch Top Chef? They featured Gullah cuisine on at least one episode. I enjoyed learning about it alot. Might be fun to check out if you have the chance. 💜
@@BeboRulz I haven't seen that episode yet, but I heard about it before. I'll check it out. :) I think Chef's Table? Maybe a different food documentary show did an episode about it, too! :D
@Ray Yule yes I miss a lot of foods! I might be able to find some things at places like Costco, but I don't have a membership or anything so idk if these items are there. I can find western food/good substitutes for most things, but so far biscuits, cornbread, salty chips, and a few specific fast food/brands are very much missed
Grew up in philly, went to school in SC, currently living in Korea, been fans of Chef Chris Cho and Jolly since forever…was this collab made for me??🥹🥹
Josh and Ollie always seem to bond with every guest on their video. Goes to show the kind of people they are. I’m loving seeing them back in America hopefully we get to see more international collabs 🙏
a collab that I did not expect, but I'm highly excited for! Have been following Chef Chris Cho for a while now and now seeing him in Jolly is really warming
Not familiar with Chef Chris but being a former Philly girl, it was great to hear him speak about Philly. Seems like a great guy. Another fun video guys!!
I loved that those people were asking what you were eating! I ordered Duk boki And the table next to me was asking what it was! Was so happy to spread the amazingness of Korean food and it was all cause of your channel!
bibigo is pretty much my intro to korean food. I first had frozen mandu from then and fell in LOVE. now it's always in shopping list because options for korean food where i live is still limited...
as a south carolina native it makes me so happy to see you guys here enjoying what international cuisine we have to offer. i hope yall got some southern comfort food too. i can see the southern hospitality in the video too. so cool.
Started following Chef Cho a couple years ago while looking for Keto Korean recipes. Really glad to see two of my favorite channels getting to meet each other. great stuff.
- The lady complimenting Josh's/their accent - Ollie's mustache! - "Brain consultant" 🤣 - Friendly americans (but I kinda feel scared of getting approached by strangers lol) - Chef Chris elbowing Ollie whenever he makes him laugh lol golfer rabbits More collabs please!
we just started getting some bibigo in our grocery store and its already on my "gotta keep stocked" list in the house because its the best out there especially for a frozen meal that can just be tossed into the air fryer and its just sooo easy to just toss with some rice and done.
Jolly is lit with content!! I was not expecting Korean food in South Carolina 😳🤩 Just following Chef Chris to get more Korean food on my Instagram timeline 🙌🏾🙌🏾 love the energy and chemistry between the three of you!!
We had our first taste of Korean food in Charleston, in a small restaurant located in an Exxon station off Glenn McConnell Parkway, about ten years ago. Stopped by on a whim while getting gas for the car and had my first seafood pancake! Utterly delicious!
I love that you guys had Chef Chris on Jolly. He is such a chill guy and to see him somewhat nervous filming, when he is a star in his own right is too precious.
That was an unexpected video between all the super fun Italian content, but it was really sweet and warm 🥰 (and also sunny, which is always nice to see during the North European autumn 😂)
I loved this so much. I love Chef Chris and his family. :) I love their restaurant where I eat everytime I go to Philly. I didn't realize there was a second restaurant. I love Josh and Ollie and Korean food at golf. LOL! This was great.
two years ago, i saw chef chris on instagram for not only his recipes when everyone's staying at home and learning how to cook. now seeing him on jolly is crazy.
I just realized that the package opening video was one of the first videos I watched from Korean Englishman. It felt so organic and natural back then to watch your channel!
Korean foods are getting popular, but still Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnam foods are more popular in the U.S. or/and to normal Americans. Hopefully, Korean foods would become much more popular soon.
I told Chef Choi I was jealous he met you guys...or I'm jealous you met him! You're videos started my learning of Korean culture and language. Chef Choi helps me make the delicious food!
Another great Chris on this channel ;) also, not me being amazed because it's the first video I watched when it was actually uploaded that had the classical introduction. So much fun to watch; thanks for ending my week on a very happy note! Stay safe!
I love chef Chris outlook on like American food. I have like similar ideas on like school lunches and like just some random classic American foods. It’s nice to have a similar opinion.
AHHHH When were y'all in SC????? You need to come to NC sometime to Shelby and try the best BBQ in the states at Bridges BBQ(it was voted on in Thrillest, plus the woman that opened it was inducted into the BBQ hall of fame)!! Also Bibigo has some delicious frozen food. It's about the only Korean food our country grocery stores carry lol (aside from like 1 brand of Kimchi and some Korean BBQ sauce)
Big fan of JOLLY here , when i first found your channel it was shouted out by Hjune a korean canadian streamer that plays rust which also loves your videos . Maybe it would be a fun video to play rust with him for the first time
Please come to Cincinnati! We're famous for our chili!!! And you'd be surprised to know, it all started with a Greek immigrant family in the 20's. Now, there are 100's of chains and mom and pop places doing chili as their main.
