I'm a sinigang-biased. I sometimes imagine myself eating sinigang every day for the rest of my life, so I really love it when other people appreciate it. There is a huge variety of ways of cooking sinigang. For meat, it can be pork, beef, tuna, milkfish, salmon (fatty fish is so good), shrimp, lechon/bagnet (the strangest I tasted was canned sardines, and also corned beef) Chicken is also possible but it's called "sinampalukang manok" -with young, small tamarind leaves beautifully floating in the soup, with cute bursts of sourness in every bite For the "pampaasim," it can be tamarind, guava, miso, calamansi/lemon (usually for fish), kamias, etc (I'm uncomfortable with mango tho, but I love that tamarind-guava tandem) In addition, crushed gabi(taro) in the sinigang soup makes it thicker and better, and you can add lots of veggies and chili! 🤤 my mouth waters just thinking about it. (healthier/better/superior) sinigang >>>>> adobo #sinigangsupremacy and.. I haven't done this but there are also people who use sinigang mix as a chicken marinade in frying or bbq

I think majority of jessica's subscriber knows that she cant eat ampalaya. Also many kids here in the Philippines dont like the bitter taste of it. But hey, its nutrious.

The leaf juice is supposedly a good antitussive (i.e., it stops cough), antipyretic (i.e., for fever), purgative and anthelmintic (i.e., against roundworms). In the Philippines the food in province very cheap but in the City as a filipino when you buy there a food it's very expensive, in Korea filipino food is more expensive but koreans go in the Philippines if they will buy filipino food it's very cheap. 😊

that lumpia i think is lumpiang togue (pronounced as toge) bean sprouts, dipped in special kind of suka and sili (red chili), its commonly fat and short in lumpia wrapper unlike the lumpiang shanghai which is longer ang thinner (sometimes short and thin). there is also lumpia sariwa, and many more in a lumpia style, with different sauces, thats why i sometimes asks what in it to expect the taste and for the sauce selection. edit: oh i think jessica says the korean pancake in a lumpia. now i see..
