Honestly, this is the first time I see a Filipino style spaghetti cooked with only banana ketchup. It's usually used to just compliment the tomato sauce not replace the tomato sauce. Im really curious with the taste of your spaghetti 😅

Usually foreigners will think of pancit and sweet spaghetti and shanghai.. but when Jessica did the marshmallow hotdog shows how much she had fun as a Korean kid invited in Pinoy kids party.. you can't just not have the mallow-hotdogs on a cabbage or pineapple or watermellow..

I laughed so hard at the cabbage and hotdog part hahaha, actually the purpose of the cabbage is to help hold the stick in place so you can easily impale the hotdog and marshmallow to the stick without your hand getting burned, and you guys did the order backwards hahaha, still such a fun video

Filipino spaghetti uses tomato sauce as the base sauce and then for the sweetness, banana ketchup or sugar is added...also the sauce is not watery because tomato paste is usually added to thicken the sauce 🥰 But I'm glad that you tried to make your own version of Filipino birthday party food 🥳

Intro Sylvia: HAHAHAHAHAHHA Me in my head: This would be a llaughtrip vlog. 😂😂

When you’re doing grahams, you have to mix the all purpose cream and condensed milk. Not just all purpose cream

in a pan fry. Let the pan heat and pour cooking oil, onion and minced garlic. Put ground pork and cook it, put some ham and hotdogs. After that put 2pouch of tomato sauce, tomato paste and ketchup. Pour water on it and put a lid. Mix them afterwards and put some spices like bellpepper, pepper and salt on it. Optional if you are cheese lover and with a sweet tooth you can put some in order to have its salty sweet sauce. Put the lid and simmer again. Mix and if you see that you don't like its thickness you can add water again. Let it boil and taste it. Then set it aside and make pasta noodles. If your noodle is ready then put it on your plate and put the sauce and meat on it and to top it all grate cheese on it

I'm a Pinoy and I studied culinary I grew up in a family who love spaghetti but its kinda new to me to see that way of cooking spaghetti we dont boil them with the sauce and we dont saute the pasta with onions and garlic and one thing we font use KETCHUP lol

Thats a wrong way to cook spaghetti. Don't put the noodles while you're cooking it (it has to be cooked first or boiled) it needs to put after you cooked the sauce and sprinkled it with cheese.. I hope people watching it will not copy it. LOL

You did great. The spaghetti with banana ketchup is typically done by Filipinos who can't afford a sauce mix or they only have tomato sauce and mix banana ketchup. I think you did great.

The cabbage holder is the expensive version of the supposed banana tree trunk/body that we would lay and stick those hotdogs enough to feed the entire neighborhood kids. Essentially a free for all/open buffet 😄 - comment on spaghetti - it’s better to separate the pasta and sauce so it won’t get overcooked. As a kid I hate the usual hotdog that we use. So if you prefer franks or sausages it’s also great. I love that you used UFC ketchup. That is the authentic taste (Papa Ketchup too) I always enjoy both of your content :) keep it up!
