My Russian friend once taught me, the best vodka is the one which tastes like rubbing alcohol, slaps you like a bear and gives you amnesia in the morning.
When i was living in europe me and my friends tried this stuff called Stroh and it's 80%!!!!!! That stuff almost made me and this one friend have a physical fight, despite the fact we're normally mellow drunks
I remember going to a house party in Moscow in February, and this one guy (Igor?) brought two jugs the size of water coolers filled with homemade vodka/moonshine. I'm pretty sure it was well over 150 proof because I can normally stand 151 rum straight. This stuff however could double as rocket fuel. This guy then took both jugs and set them outside on the porch in the middle of the snow, and then took out a bottle of something purple and poured it into one of the jugs. It turned out to be pomegranate juice. Left for about an hour or so outside till the concoction turned a milky purple-ish swirl. It was like Hawaiian Punch with a mule kick to the face. I literally could not feel my face. I can't remember exactly what happened but I think I pulled a Bert Kriescher because I woke up not knowing who, what, where, when, why, and my shirt and underwear was missing but my pants and boots were still on. Overall, a solid 8/10.
@i'm Dani I'm Ok I thought the same, except about Wanee. She was keeping it cool. I would've liked to see Heejin or Minji, or both, on this. They're not missing much here. Champagne and Vodka with orange juice (I usually go with the 60-40 rule for mixed).
Agreed, moonshine is special. I have many friends who make different kinds and they compete to determine who makes it best. I honestly am just happy to be a taste tester 😅
Youngju, I am still laughing at your reaction to the Vodka, you have me LMAO. Now you know why Beer is so popular here in America. I hope none of you ladies got an upset stomach.
@@_JoeyFN_ I mean, they're not younger than me and I'm 24. That's for sure. I mean I know the whole they look younger ting, but I don't know how that would be 'down bad' bro. Like, thinking they're pretty isn't crazy or weird. It's attraction. It's normal.
Vodka should be frozen, that way it almost hasn't got any taste to it and goes like water. To know that is properly frozen, it should be almost oil like when you pour it. And it will never turn into ice, if it turned into ice after a few hours in the freezer, it definitely isn't 40% vodka, i recommended you don't drink it)
I remember i had vodka once and i drank beer one hour after, i lost my mind with just one small glass of each one. But easily i can drink a fermented purple grapes wine over and over 😵💫
8:03 A good vodka should be smooth, as if you are drinking water initially with the real taste kicking in halfway through your mouth and ending with a burn when it goes down your throat. Should also mention that if you want to drink good vodka and have at least some respect for the drink and it's heritage: you drink it straight: no fruits, soda, juice or ice. Straight.
You should have gotten a better consultation for thai video. I’m in Korea right now and I have an extensive collection of Russian vodka’s that I bought locally from ethnic shops. There are so many better types you could have tried.
I'm a whisky drinker. My opinion on vodka is, it's just ethanol and it's consumed for the sake of getting drunk. Watching these girls take shots of it... that's some strong stuff. I sip 40-57% whisky but never chug like that holy hell I'd get drunk too.
wait so like... do korean's not drink vodka at all? im so confused how most of them are saying they've only had it once or twice cos vodka is in a lot of mixed drinks and cocktails? or are they only talking about like pure russian vodka?
Lmao their eyes at the end. you can tell someone’s juiced out or drunk from their eyes😂 and the girls looked drunk af by the end of the video, must’ve been fun
i once visited russia and was so surprised that a popular finnish vodka called "Finlandia" was so popualr there, literally saw so many people drink it! i quess foreign drinks are always a bit more fancy sicne they generally cost more.
koreans are truly unique in that they make strong alcohol that TASTES GOOD. Everywhere else is like "what, make it drinkable? no way! gasoline or nothing!"
Everyone drinks vodka. Bears walk along the street. Endless winter. Those stereotypes...😑 Global Status Report on Alcohol and Health (WHO), Alcohol consumption (total per capita) 2022: 1. Moldova 2. Lithuania 3. Czech Republic 4. Germany 5. Nigeria ... 16. Russia ... 38. South Korea
I have the feeling MJ and Chacha went first and by the time the other two started their tasting MJ already destroyed the bag of chips so they didn't even get chips and only had the pickles left 🤣
Do you know how to drink vodka? If you don't want to wince from vodka, you need to hold your breath, then drink to the bottom and have a pickled cucumber (or other snack). You are welcome!
its kinda strange they never thought to mix it with juice lmao no normal person frankly drinks pure russian vodka unless he she is well strong alchoholic
So fun fact, you can't get 100% alcohol by distillation alone. You would need something like a molecular sieve or some other method to remove the last like 4% water from alcohol.
