There are a few more different types. "Double Black" "Green" "Gold" and "Platinum" are the other types, they are between black and blue. Blue is possibly one of the best in the world.

Johnny Walker Red was developed specifically as a "mixing" whiskey, with a slightly harsher flavour to break through what ever you mix with it. You can drink it straight if you choose (and many people do), but it It is not really intended for that.

I remember when I first moved to Florida. It was new year eve and I was alone. I was missing my family in new York. So I decided to get Jonny walker red and celebrate by my self. Bad decision, I was sick as a dog the next day. Never drank it again.

You should definitely try pisco (Peruvian pisco obviously) there are also different kinds of it and is really good (especially if u mix it with soda or fruit juice) I don’t know if they sell it in Korea, but if they do you should definitely try it! (Also if u do pls remember that pisco is exclusively peruvian other kind of liquor obtain by the distillation of grapes is not pisco)

They sell individual 50ml shots of Blue Label here, they were $19.95 + sales tax last time I checked. They literally come in a to-scale bottle in a to-scale magnetic blue box 🥺😍

Many years ago, there was a dive(ish) bar near my apartment. I used to buy a bottle of JW Blue instead of shots / single drinks and just leave it there. It was $200+ even back then (not sure if it was 750ml or 1L).

Blue label is meant for sipping at the end of the day as you look across the night sky and ponder life. It's meant to be slightly held on your tongue and slowly let that liquid velvet trickle down your throat . Drink it neat, I will even say I'll not look too askance if you drink it on ice, but I beg of you, don't dare mix it and don't pound it. Leave that to the lesser labels.
