i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I love any help you can give me.
I actually really appreciate hearing the location of your home and its market price, that's super interesting (it just helps to contextualise and to give me an idea of whether the average/middle class korean family could afford living like this) but it's something most house tours do not even take into account. Thanks!!
Wow! You replied. It’s true. I always enjoy your videos because of how candidly talk about different things in an unpretentious way 😊 Hope to see more videos from you.
@@Scatrex oh, I’m sorry if you took it the wrong way. I just want to say that Kelsey likes to make fun of herself and doesn’t take herself seriously is a really modest way. That’s just how I put it. I apologize if you misunderstood what I was trying to state.
Kelsey, you my dear are a national treasure. So much I can comment here, most importantly is the positive down to earth, true cultural education you provide in a calm comfortable manner, helping those truly interested in the Korean cultural/lifestyle to not feel as they are rudely intruding into your day to day life. Keep doing what you are doing.
I feel you, my parents also divorced and their marriage was a nightmare. Not exaggerating... But, like you, I'm also in a much better condition now and I rebuilt my relationship with both parents, especially with mother, because with her situation was much more complicated. I sincerely hope you continue to heal completely, if you aren't yet there.
Thank you for being so open in this video, it was very beautiful, its so cool how the internet can allow us to have some insight on someones life whom you have never met
That massage chair is huge too! Where would that go in a normal American home? I have no space for it 😆 but I guess it’d be so expensive that it would have to become my bed 🤣
Your heating system reheats the same air thats why its not dry, if you don’t introduce new air on a continuous bases its a great atmosphere for growing mold. Forced air heating is healthier as it heats fresh air but can be dryer on the skin.
Kelsey, i genuinely don’t know how to explain it but your videos have such a weird nostalgia feeling and reassuring feeling to them, especially this one. Anyway that was confirming in a way and really informative :)
It's super funny and cute the way you express yourself! I love how real you are with everything, and a lot of people across cultures can relate with the family drama I'm sure. Thanks for sharing!
I like the way you express yourself. You're so spontaneous and genuine. I feel so close when I watch your videos as if I were your friend haha Much love from Brazil!
Totally amazing video! Takes me back in my childhood days where my folks also pushes me to attend lots of workshops for piano, violin, singing and acting! We go to a school for that instead of having a private tutor to come to your house. I guess you can say Im your typical MAPE girl (Music Arts Physical Education) on top of that, I learned taekwondo, swiming and ice skating too! My folks are very supportive of me when I have so many interests as a young child. Its not like theyre a typical asian (im a Filipina from the Philippines) parents who want whats best for their kids to be exposed to this and that and become sophisticated lol. I wonder if you guys can set your family home appartment up for AIRNB instead, would definitely rent that if I get to Skor again after covid but ehh you have a point about the inheritance tax thing oof. Sending love and appreciation from the Philippines! Thanks for the house tour and video!
Girl...you are so chill and down-to-earth, dunno if your parents had a lot to do with that or you’re just that frickin fabulous! LOL! Stay you girl and keep doing your “thang” 😝 love your content cuz it’s REAL and entertaining!!! 🥰
I so appreciate you making this video. And sharing your childhood/life with us (we are not entitled to it so thank you for opening up and honoring us with it). I’m the eldest and only female child of three (two younger brothers, big age gaps), so my mom was kinda tiger-ish until my family hit some big financial problems when I was 11/12 and my second brother was born. My dad had to join the army and he was my rock so that effed me up a lot mentally. We moved around a lot (even before my dad enlisted), so I don’t have a childhood home or hometown to claim. It’s really nice seeing how others grew up. Ditto on the extra lessons not ensuring sophistication because kids are gonna do whatever they want. The biggest thing I learned from my parents is not to get pregnant as a teenager, and to live my life and figure out my ish, so when I finally am ready to have a family, I don’t mess them up too badly and take out my problems on them. It’s a little personal, but I’m a total failure and disappointment to my parents. I got my bachelors but I’m not working in that industry and definitely working a lower paying job. They’ve been pressuring me to have kids so they can be grandparents but little they know I’m getting divorced. I’m terrified of my future but I’m so excited to finally live free to make mistakes and not let anyone else’s judgement affect me. The older I get, the more I realize that adults don’t know what they’re doing with their lives either, so it’s okay to take my time and figure it out because I don’t want to be 70 and blaming other people for my regrets, you know? So yeah, being 29 and divorced is scary, but it’s better than being 50, in a toxic marriage, and hurting myself and any kiddos I might have (no judgement to anyone else, but I just don’t want that for me). Thanks for your content, all of it, you make me smile and laugh and that helps me get through my day and tough times.
You need your own show haha this whole video felt like an indie movie with the sad piano music in the back ground & you just talking about your family.
That's a nice lovely place and furniture and everything. I love how u gave a back story to somethings. I had a slight feeling, sorry if this sound weird or invasive, but it seemed like u had little flashbacks of ur childhood and such thruout the video, and I just wanted to say I hope things get better or have gotten better for you💕 I think your a funny, wonderful, and creative person. I love the content you post and everything. Thanks for making my day a little better everytime you post💕 your gonna do great things in the future and reach unimaginable success one day love💕
i feel like i would had been great friends with Kelsey, like she was an old childhood friend and we used to hang around each other houses, it's an odd sentiment.
Thank you for sharing this part of your life with me. I feel like I'm really getting to know you, so I can pretend that we really are friends. LOL Keep up the great videos.
I love how you ended the video, like how you said this rigorous education led to you making videos about your sex life, lmao it was kind of an unexpected twist? My mom was also a typical Korean tiger mom but she kinda had to give the dream up in my later years bc we had a family of three kids and we didn’t have the funds to support it. But education was very important and we were still sent to sat boot camp lol. I didn’t know you were an only child before this video but i cant imagine the amount of pressure that was on you. In the end you seem like a very independent smart woman so there’s that haha
that is soooo cool, I'm always so happy when you post because I really love that you say everything how it is and not sugarcoat the reality, which i think a lot of Koreans do, I don't mean it in a bad way, I guess it's just a part of the culture... I also wanted to say that I hope you're living a great life and you're happy with it because you deserve the best in everything hehe ♡ sounds kinda creepy but you get what I mean lmao
Is it weird that I want to know what your parents do for a living 😅. By parents I mean your dad as I now know your mum collects rent. I also find it interesting peoples' occupations, what they studied in Uni, house location, and intetior design/decorations. A+ for content!
Well, it looks like what she meant by "her mom collect rents" is that her mom collects rent payments from their apartments or whatever that is being rented out. It's apparent from her video that they are rich. She even mentioned they used to own the 1st floor. By that, it would tell me that they "may" have a lot of properties. They even sold it cheap. And they also have houses of their own + a big ass empty house. Sooooo, you get my point, right? Lol
Love ya, girl! Sending u lots of love from across the globe! Hearing your similar family situation along with your open and outgoing personality makes me want to be your friend so bad. 🥺Wanna give u a comforting hug to cheer you up but will have to settle with this 🤗 wishing u peace, happiness, and all the best! I look forward to watching more of your future videos! PS: I came here after watching u on dkdktv and I'm subscribed to your channel as well now.
O god I really love your high spirit attitude and your confidence 😎 I'm not korean but I have some korean friends & they won't face time me without doing makeup or looking like what they called presentable but you posting a video like this (please don't misunderstand me u are beautiful sis. It's just that my K friends told me this bare-face thing 🤪), u taking things so lightly really makes me feel good and encourages me to live more like u (care free spirit, happy, full of confidence etc.) 🥰...if possible do share some tips ❤u .
Hi Kelsey! I’d love to hear your thoughts on what divorce in korea is like. I just finished watching 18 again which kind of shows what divorce on korea was like and I’m just wondering how accurate it is!
@@KelseytheKorean korean parents are pretty much like indian parents .Indian parents are obsessed with math and science .They want their child to ace competative exams .But they don't care much about music .
You play well. Mothers are good for advancing our musical knowledge, aren't they? ...and (I think) $400USD for utilities would be expensive in a Washington DC apt., and I live in a really good area of the city. However, utilities are included in most rentals, so I'm judging based on family members who own full 3-floor homes. Still, it's an acceptable trade-off, for the chance to live in (or near?) Seoul...and the floor heating system sounds so much better than Central Heating. Thanks for posting this. Btw, did you ever go to flower festivals in Ilsan, when you were growing up?
My family home also has water pipes that heat up our house, but the heated water comes from a wood burner/water heater system connected between the house and an external wood stove haha.
No, you are in fact sophisticated. Likely because of your family, but probably not because of the piano or the pressure. Sex can be talked about by a sophisticated person, but the way of talking is different. Sorry to break it to your rebellious spirit, but it is easy to see that you are sophisticated, even when talking about sex. I would actually say that I found your recent videos with the British girl quite interesting because of the way you spoke about the topic.
@@KelseytheKorean Yeah! I have a question, does every Korean family trains their child in musical instruments coz I have seen many korean yotubers playing piano perfectly
Hey Kelsey, loved all of your videos. I am from india and I always relate to your stories about family and education in some level. Honesty exudes out of ur videos. Keep making these awsm videos.❤️
When you said house the first thing I thought was the typical three story house was at 1/4 acre of land. I keep forgetting house = apartment. Lol But your old house is so cute.
