@@melika6206 Most likely because it makes him feel old, having been born in 1997. I also saw someone comment that he went to South Korea in 2010 which would be before they were even born.
@@michellemor yes I know, but idk, like I just think when you have 10 years you can realize that is fake. But idk, it's fine if parents don't want to tell that to their children's when they're older than 10 years. I know those kinds of parents and it's fine, but is quite weird cause for example all my family knew it so early, for example my mother at 6 years.
As a teacher, I'm really impressed with how Chan especially reacts to the kids saying technically wrong things. Many adults would instinctively say "That's wrong!" and give the solution, but he picks up on their enthusiasm and says things like "Oh right, it's a shame we don't have elephants in Australia, that'd be awesome!" He packages it positively and makes the kids feel comfortable, even if they did not know the answer.
Their _instant_ leap to a cover story about Santa's differing appearance is adorable. And then there's the instant heart attack when Chan realizes people were not only born after 2001, but are also old enough now to be conversing.
As someone who was born in 1991 and is older than Chan it is even worse. People who were born after 2000, including my own sister who is already 19, are still little kids to me xD And it is even weirder to think about the kids born in the 2010's since technically I could be their mother xD I feel old as shit while writing this 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Especially right at the end when the sound cuts of. Because that conversation stayed going w Felix probably telling them how old Chan was 😂 cuz the little girl with pigtails made the 😮 at Chan 😂🤣😂🤣
The way Channie nodded to Felix as if to say, “It’s time, let us confuse these poor children.” was just so funny to me. 😂😂 And the smiles on their faces when the kids came in 🥹🥹
I love how MAXIDENT era gave us not only stray kids with puppies but CHANLIX with literal kids too😭🥹🫶🏼 (edit: i’m talking chanlix in ODG and chanlix in the wilben show for those confused)
As a person that works in education I'm really impressed with how chan and felix taught them, how they explained things to them and how they reacted to their answers. WELL DONE!👏👏👏
I can't get over Chan's mini-crisis when the girls told him they were born in 2013. I could almost hear him internally screaming "Oh my god, I've been here longer than they've been alive!"
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="267">4:27</a> them desperately saving the children's thoughts about santa meanwhile leeknow happily running around spoiling kids' dreams
Props to both of them for not speaking baby-ish and treating them as their equal age and not laughing at the kids a threuh mistakes. Also to this channel for not introducing these guys as idols from a big group so the kids won’t feel pressured and could speak freely . This was overall a great video. 👍🏻
Fun fact: people change their accent or it becomes more obvious, when they talk to others with that same accent. They often don't realize they're doing it and it's not on purpose.
I’m studying to become a teacher and honestly Felix , especially Chan have teacher qualities. The way they included the kids, had them compare and how they explained and could offer examples!!
Honestly same, I’m only two courses away from graduating as an English (Literature) teacher. The way they include the kids and get the kids interested by having them try to guess based on visualization through the pictures is brilliant. And this is very effective for all learning ages, but especially so for children in their early learning years, so from prekindergarten to about 7th grade; incorporating this is great for them since it gets their brains going, which will be useful in the later years of school and beyond.
I was wondering why Chan's expression when the kids get an answer wrong looked familiar. Then I realised, that's the expression he has every day when dealing with Stray Kids
As an Australian STAY, this fills my heart with so much joy, I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time!! Thank you for having Chan and Felix with the kiddos, love it ❤
I just need more skz content like this. 🥹 this was amazing. Chan and Felix interacting with kids is everything. Chan is seriously husband material. He’ll make a great dad some day. Felix still seems like an older brother but again they’ll be great parents in the future.
@@SHINee387 Sure, I didnt deny it. Every country can become someones home, depending I guess how long you are there, thats cool... I was just unsure about the term origin, thats all and if I remembered it wrong if Chan was born in Korea or not.
This was really special. I always worry that interviews with kids will be cringe, or that the atmosphere will be awkward, but this was sooo gentle and lovely. Great kids, great Chanlix.
Ok so I've always casually followed Stray Kids, listened to one or two of their songs, knew a few members, but today was the first time I actually watched their content. I have totally and completely 100% fallen for Chan. WOW, JUST WOW. Imma have to follow up on this... EDIT. Any recommendations?
Watch interviews! My god, them as a whole is just an overload of serotonin. Vanity Fair SKZ Test How Well They Know Each Other is such a funny video to watch!
A bit late of a reply, but they have loads of content on their youtube channel! I would start from their 'SKZ CODE', which is kind of like their own little show where they do fun activities together, which is very funny and wholesome to watch! Also, they have their own vlogs, 2 kids room where you can find out more about their relationship with one another, and also other fun content too! Compilation videos and guides are always the way to go - thats how I first got into them, learning all their names and personalities before watching their music videos and other content! Hope this helps~
I guess you can start watching two kids room that gave me the basic idea about every members personalities you can also watch survival show, variety shows or skz code it's so fun to watch❤
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="20">0:20</a> where they look at each other like a newly-wed couple got me rolling 🤣 and when they said "G'day mate" was a famous saying like it was a great proverb or smth- and of course we can't forget about Chan's shock at realizing there a people who are actually born after I.N.
Felix & Bang Chan are like Australian ambassador teaching kids about Australia. This episode was so cute. I also wanted to see the kids reaction to their music. Plz give us more skz content in the future
Being an aussie. Im so grateful to see my fellow korean friends knowing about it! Thank you felix and Chan! You did a great job at it mate! And its kinda weird how most of the accent and words arent used anywhere else. Wow!
OMG I think I just died a little from laughing 😂😂 Chan‘s soul almost left his body when the girls said they were born in 2013 😂😂 That‘s the face of someone realizing how old they are AND BELIEVE ME, I‘m even older than Chan and it physically hurts me realizing just how old I am compared to post-2000 babies 😂😭😭
Right?! Before I moved to Korea to teach English in a school, I taught ESL to families from Korea in the U.S. One morning I was working with one of the moms (whose oldest was in 7th grade), and we were talking about high school. I told her the year I graduated. Her jaw dropped. "That's the year after I was BORN!" 🤨 "Yeah...NOW your English is perfect."
@@karizi356 Yeah, I was born in 88, so I feel the pain 😂 Every time I talk to stays on any platform I literally feel so OLD because most of them are either the kids‘ age or even younger 😂 I mean Chan is the oldest in SKZ but he‘s only half a year older than my youngest sister, it‘s mindboggling sometimes 😂
G'day fellas! Being an Australian Stay, I couldn't stop smiling throughout the whole video. I could relate to all the things Chan and Felix talked about. When they meant kangaroos on the street, it's so true. You like see them all over the place and Chan's demonstration of the kangaroos was so accurate 😂. Thank you so much Odg, Chan and Felix for another great episode!
@@Tilly1770 I have a habit of saying "g'day" to people I meet hiking, but never "g'day mate" lol. Mate is reserved for "old mate" or when I'm pissed at someone
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="230">3:50</a> For Baby Chan and Baby Felix with Santa pictures! Chan with the popped up collar looking ⭐FRESH⭐ and Felix's chubby cheeks extending my life by another 10 years Edit: Chan instantly feeling his 1/4 century existence at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="484">8:04</a>
Bang Chan thinking about how old he is at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="489">8:09</a>😂😂. I loved this. It was so cute. I learnt a lil bout Australia too. G'day Mates🇦🇺❤️
As a STAY and as a fan of this channel, it feels like a really fun and unexpected collab! It’s fascinating how easily they talk to one another and they didn’t even mention Stray Kids or idols at all.
I am living for these Chanlix videos with kids. There is something so beautiful about the way they are with little ones. The way Felix feels so genuinely comfortable.....it makes my heart flutter. The quick thinking of Felix, to keep the spirt of Santa Claus alive for those girls....🥰🥰🥰 The look on Leader Bang's face when the girls said they were born in 2013.....I felt that in every fiber of my being....🥺😭😭😭 143 Felix and Leader Bang. 💛🌻💛🦘🐔
