Yes you are right Courtney ….it’s very common in South Korea and Japan …I never knew how bad it was in South Korea and Japan until recently when I watched the Australian 60 minutes documentary on the issue…. It’s thousands of people suffering or had their children mainly abducted from abroad…. I implore anyone to watch the documentary and share this video and the documentary …. The DA is very common in South Korea….

I have been watching a lot of non Korean bloggers married to Korean men who have children and only two of the ones I watch are fine and a lovely couple the others raise red flags 🚩 and concerns… one vlogger was suffering DA from her husband in America and he fled America to South Korea after stealing about 10K from her….it caused a massive stir on social media about a year ago….her name is Cerose….she has two little boys….

Hi Courtney! I’d like to suggest you try reaching out to Stephanie Soo (she runs the true crime podcast Rotten Mango). On her personal RU-vid channel (not true crime) she sometimes shares victims stories from Korea that don’t always fall under true crime, such as when people in Korea have been mistreated by law-enforcement or taken advantage of. She is Korean herself and is from America. She might be able to bring more attention to your story or point you in the right direction to some helpful agencies in Korea, as she has helped bring light to other victims in Korea when law enforcement has not. Praying for you ❤ never give up!

Police originated as a way to enforce property law. Children, in most of the world, are the property of their parents. Which is only a slightly modernised way of saying, property of their father. For countries which have massive gender disparities - like SK, with the largest gender pay gap in the OECD - the father is the one systematically lined up (in terms of wealth, property ownership, “ability to provide”, more likely to have extended family available…) as the person to prioritise in property law disputes. All of which to say Patriarchy is Alive & Kicking, systemic issues are really hard to fix, & it would seem you are the punching bag Patriarchy is Kicking this week. Which is awful. Many countries have documented pros & cons of the ways they have tried to do better. It hasn’t always been wonderful but they’ve tried. South Korea hasn’t really tried, is what I’m coming to understand. In the meantime, you still don’t have your child, you’re still being kicked around, & it’s still not okay on any level. Kia Kaha. Keep educating.

Hey, I haven’t watched all your videos but I have watched some. To prove that his videos are false or he’s orchestrating everything, I would recommend getting into contact with his ex girlfriends. If he was abusive to you most likely he was also abusive in his past/ other relationships too. Hopefully you can get their statements so you can use this as evidence that he’s lying and trying to make you out to be the bad guy. Wishing you all the best ❤

Where is your father? Get a male cousin to come with you to SK that will have more of an effect. Pls know that by yourself its gonna be very hard for you.

@@freezelacold8184 My dad is back home. He lost my mother last year it's been hard on him, plus he owns a house. He doesn't have a passport. My grandmother will be trying to come over here to help with the kids soon.
