Just got my hair permed for the first time yesterday and this video was perfect! Please do a video on aftercare / products for post perm. Thanks so much ! 🙌🏻
I permed my hair in a Korean salon and 24 hours after you perm, you can’t wash your hair. But when you wash your hair regularly, just as per normal and keep your curls hydrated so they keep their shape. Like leave-in conditioners! The key is also styling like properly drying it in the curl’s shape. Don’t sleep with it wet! It will look weird when it dries in the morning 😂😂
Hey I know this video is from a while ago but where did you get your Perm done? I have salons near me that do 'Perms' but im not sure if they do Korean Perms. Thanks for the content as always
how long do you wait before perming your hair again? in the beginning of the video you showed a shot of your hair "two weeks ago" which still looked pretty solid so i was wondering how long it'd had been permed at that point. thank you!
Great tips. Why do they cut the hair before the perm? Did you recommend a hot perm or cold perm? I was considering going to a more specialist salon for the first time but after watching this video I'm reconsidering as you're right that it takes a while for your stylist to know what you want. I'm unsure as my stylist is likely not up to date with korean/japanese perms and products.
can u do a vid on where to find aa good men's hair salon for perms or haircuts and also give recommendations of the ones you know or have heard it is good?
casey acantidalo I have thin hair and I got a Korean perm. tbh I think it depends on the hairstyle and cut you’re going for. I just wear my hair done and didn’t do the two block thing. but I have to fix my hair throughout the day so it doesn’t show my scalp cause you know if you have fine hair your scalp shows easily if you don’t style it right
Lol uh oh I got one awhile back. I didn’t have a two block haircut cause I didn’t want people thinking I wanna be Asian or something lmao. It didn’t come out the way I thought it would be but I still ended up liking it. Do you use or do anything to maintain the Korean perm btw?
