Jade, I love your mom! She's so open-minded and readily embraced Malaysian culture! MashAllah. And, I love she tries speaking in English. She pronounced the word "sedap" spot on. She won't have problems picking up the Malay language. And, she looks great in the red kebaya! ❤ ❤ ❤ BTW, in my family once we start working we give our parents duit raya and monthly allowance. They no longer give us money except for gifts on birthdays, wedding or move into a new house on marriage and have grandchildren. We take care of them once we're working. They don't demand but we make it our duty. That's the Islamic way ... we give what we can afford. Not the amount that counts but the love and respect and caring that comes with it.

i wish someone would invite blimey to celebrate raya next year at village to feel the fun of celebrating raya with hectic situations. it will be super hectic and memorable night for malam raya. what about celebrating raya at dayang’s hometown for Rayadhan season 2?😍 i love seeing you guys wearing traditional baju kurung because even us malaysian doesn’t really wear them nowadays. so much fashionable baju kurung have been made but still lets us just enjoy the new traditions and cherish old traditions as well😘

Thank you for making this content Blimey Channel and thank you for introducing this Malaysian culture to your mom, Jade... I wish and hope that Jade, Jade’s mom, Dasol and Yerim can learn the lessons behind this Malaysian culture to become better children that love and care for your parents. I also hope that soon Blimey Channel would make contents that introduced Malaysian cultures such as Ramadhan and Hari Raya to older generation people (50yo and above) so that we could see their reaction and opinions in Malaysian culture. When I listened to Jade’s mom explanation and history, I feel that Koreans have lost a big part of their culture due to modernisation. The culture of close relationships that Malaysians still have and maintained. I think both Malaysians and young generation Koreans like you girls can learn something from your parents/grandparents story about their childhood and what was it like to live as young children/teens/adults in the past. At least in terms of festivals and holiday celebrations only. Bad memories from the past should not be reminded (I meant during Japanese Invasion especially 😥)... Only good memories that are related to Malaysian Cultures...
