This is one of my favs! Jay Park "Run it" feat Jessi and Woo Won Jae and "Gyopo rap" also with Jay Park and Jessi are older but I think worth checking out. Also Lay's D.N.A. cypher is pretty good too(It's actually 2 cyphers in the mv).

Korean rap is great. Skilled rappers for sure… but the reason I love Korean rap right now do much is the instrumentals, the energy, the flow. It’s not that chill low energy rap. This was also my interpretation of that line and the one that makes most sense to me. The term (ghetto birds) was used a lot in California in the 90s. I guess not much anymore? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@rjb727 yes, I also grew up in Los Angeles in the 80s and 90s and they were referred to as "birds" or "ghetto birds." There is a very large Korean community in the Los Angeles area and so I am sure these guys have friends that are from the west coast of the states and probably influenced some of their slang. Or...I am completely wrong! Anyway, that's what I thought they were referring to.
